    Had find this jingle. The 9 year old me said “Pontiac,You Make A Great Car. Love being able to go back in time. 😊

    $5109 What a steal. Center console & T-Top put this over the top. Still nicer than anything put out today.

    I had a 77 LJ the same color as the add, 400 4 barrel, all the bells, should have kept it. It was a beautiful car. Had a bumper that could take a bump too. Not like these plastic stuff today. It would spin the tires, miss my LJ

    The 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix was the last really beautiful Grand Prix there was. After that they got progressively more ugly with every redesign. By the 1990s the only good thing about the Pontiac Grand Prix was the 3800 V6.

      The 2-door models were still cool, especially fully loaded BUT you're right the 4-door really had no style/class...

      76-77 were my favorite years. I used to own an 84. I liked that generation too. 78-80 were just to damn boxy

    Holy weasel words, batman. My grandma owned one of those. I don't remember the specs as she traded it in around 1992 or 1993. I do remember it was white with a blue interior.

    The 77 was the last and best looking of the 73-77. In the very low bar of mid 70’s cars it was top tier. Unfortunately it was a shadow of the previous generation (69-72) thanks to small and weak engines and awful trim quality inside and out.

      just like anything else its personal taste. At least the cars had personality, I owned 70s Montecarlos also heavy styled, todays cars are cookie cutter styled.

    • @carlm8821
      @carlm8821 6 років тому +6

      All a matter of opinion and personal taste, me personally, would rather have this over ANY new cookie-cutter craptastic plastic car of today! This was an era when cars had unique style, individuality, personality, and most of all character! I don’t see ANY generation Prius, Altima, current Impala, Lecrosse, Insight, Taurus, etc. etc. being on anyone’s future classic car list, let alone something worth any significance to automotive importance.
