Pickleball at Memorial Park, Southern Pines, NC July 2024

Pickleball activity has markedly increased in Southern Pines, NC. The local public courts are now very busy in the mornings and afternoons. This video shows people waiting with their paddles in a holder for the rec courts and the challenge court. Some of us have now turned away when we see this long a wait. Clearly more courts are warranted. The Adjacent tennis courts are nearly always empty or contain Pickleball Players playing a suboptimal game on the tennis courts.
