    I love this pattern. I don't have one of those fabulous Jukis, so I wonder if my machine can go through what seems to be 6 layers of cork and the lining and the zipper when constructing the tabs. Have you tried making one of these pouches with a domestic machine?
    Also, do you mind sharing where you buy the cork? It seems to have weathered the turning without creasing. I use cork from Sallie Tomato, I love working with it, but it does leave some crinkles that I don't know how to eliminate.
    Do you still make the cord baskets? I really enjoyed that series. You are an excellent teacher.

      you can do a test yo see what your machine can handle. Yoh can also try using cotton fabric lined with foam interfacing.

    Hi Rosie, I was wondering where you buy your marine vinyl and waterproof canvas. I do like waterproof canvas but would like to find some thats lighter weight. I have never used marine vinyl though. It looks more high end than I imagined.

      I buy both the marine vinyl and waterproof canvas from Fabric Warehouse Direct. I really like their marine vinyl. Thanks for watching!

      I meant Fabric Wholesale Direct (not Warehouse).

    Can you use babyville pul for the lining?

    • @RosiesArtStudio
      @RosiesArtStudio  2 роки тому

      I don't know what that is. If it is similar in weight to Quilting Cotton that has been interfaced with a woven interfacing or to waterproof canvas, then maybe it would work. Thanks for watching!

    how would you make this into a crossbody?

      LOL About 30 seconds into the video I thought the same thing! I think I will try to put little tabs with D-rings on the exterior sides, probably early in construction so that the lining covers all the rivets and sewing. Then just make a strap and attach, maybe with D-ring and swivel hook. I am notorious for switching out straps on a whim.
