The Bucs of 2001 are a riddle wrapped in a mystery in an enigma. Last three games are at home, but those final three....... New Orleans, Baltimore, Philadelphia
The Buccaneers couldn’t be more happy to leave the NFC Central after the season was over-no matter how decent they were the past few seasons, it just never suited them at all!
When I was in kindergarten, we used to have a Curious George stuffed animal that we would pass around and everyone got a weekend with. When you came to school on Monday, you had to tell what you did with George. Kids took him to the park, to the mall, to an aunt’s house, etc. All innocent stuff. That was my weekend with George. We took him to see the Zoo Lights at Brookfield Zoo one night and the next day, I took him to my Papa’s house to watch the Bears-Bucs game because that’s what I did on Sundays! Needless to say, I was the only kid George watched a Bears game with that year.
Everytime you expected the Bears to crash to Earth, they didn't. What a story they were in 01. As Boomer eluded many thought this was a throwaway season for them while they played out Dick Jaurons contract.
Despite last week’s loss at Lambeau, ATL’s recent slump and WAS’s loss 2 weeks ago enabled the Bears to clinch a playoff spot with 3 weeks to spare. Plus, sweeping the Bucs was big deal for Chicago.

This was the only time Chicago would go to the playoffs under Dick Jauron.
Who of today's game is like Tampa in terms of not winning much in the cold? I remember Peyton Manning had his struggles in the cold
Keyshawn with cam newton type ball handling. Nice move by the ref to not get creamed...
Bears first sweep of the Bucs since 1995.
A-Train steamrolls Tampa's defense. 30+ carries, 170+ yard. That is my type of football.

I love the Namath reference at the end.
One of the few impressive wins for the Bears in 2001. That fumble by Keyshawn really ended any chance Tampa had
