Man, Mike Brown was a hero back then. He saved the bears in back to back games
Browns just blew a 13 point lead to the Jets in the final 2 minutes. Nobody does collapse like Cleveland.
Mike brown could have been one of the best bears If he was not hurt often
Anytime the Bears are behind and it looks like it they have no chance of winning, I will always say they need a 2001 miracle.
That was probably the most perfect onside kick I’ve ever seen.
Mike Brown was one of the smartest safeties to play the game.
Who is here after the Browns blew a 13 point lead to the Jets in the final two minutes 😂
The 2001 and 2005 Bears both had the best scoring defense in the league. They gave up a total of 203 points in ‘01 and 202 points in ‘05. The 2001 version relied on the best run defense in the league but the 2005 defense was most efficient at stopping the pass making life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. Chicago surrendered 10 touchdowns threw the air and picked off 24 passes in 2005. They were extremely stingy when it counted most (except in the playoffs) both years. In 2005 the Bears gave up a league low 13 red zone touchdowns on 40 opportunities while they allowed only 15 such touchdowns on a league low 34 chances in 2001. Both defenses were murder on 4th down as they allowed just four successful 4th down attempts in 17 tries in ‘01 and then gave up six 4th down conversions in 20 attempts in ‘05. Both teams earned a first round bye as the second seed in the NFC. If you ignore the final game of the 2005 season in which Chicago rested it’s starters then both teams went on to give up more points in a divisional round defeat than they had during the entire regular season. Both teams had bad quarterbacks, obviously.
Who’s here after Browns blew the lead to Jets in 2022?
Mike Brown channeled his inner Deion sanders in overtime over those 2 games
The Bears winning 13 games with Jim Miller and Shane Matthews and then 13 more in 2006 with Rex Grossman deserves a 30 for 30.
2001 Bears is one of the most random good teams I ever seen. So in 2001 the Bears went 13-3 and had a first round bye in the playoffs. They had the number 1 defense.

This entire season was something out of a movie. It was like Angels In The Outfield type stuff.
If Mike Brown wasn't getting hurt here and there, he would've made the hall of fame.
The looks on Tim's face at
I was at this game with my Dad, I was 12. A good chunk of people had left by the 4th quarter. The comeback was absolute madness!
The Shane Matthews Band- THE SPACE BETWEEN!
Mike Brown and Urlacher used to terrorize my Packers!
