I met Ryan and Zack at the recent SCG Con, even though I was nervous to play my first real in person CEDH game they welcomed me to the table and were super helpful. If you were ever looking for a sign to start playing CEDH, this is it!! The community is amazing and super welcoming. Can't wait to see more from this series.
This game is a perfect example of what I like to call the "Dockside feeding frenzy" effect. Each Dockside's treasures feed into the next one, which causes them to become exponentially more powerful.
Really loved this new series. I think Zack had the best intro and I would love to see more people follow their lead on how they introduce themselves and their decks. I would also love to see other people who are dedicated players of a specific archetype. Like your max pearl, patron Dante and his Tymna and Kodama deck. Super excited to see more of these.
Holy crap the video looks so good! Well edited, a lot of work and love went into it and I greatly appreciated it. I know its pretty much cEDH Game Knights you're going for, but don't listen to the people who tells you you're copying anyone. Y'all should be very proud of the product you put out, it's AWESOME!
I've been watching the channel since the beginning, and this is by far the BEST format/video edition. Congratulations, hope to see more gameplays in this style!
As someone going to school for videography and postproduction, love the video. Only thing they was confusing was all the transitions between cameras (slides, zooms, etc). I’m glad it stopped quickly after that cuz it was a bit nauseating.
Great game, but damn, also just great quality content. Very nice, very polished, love the table vibes. Hat tipped to you guys, you knocked it out of the park.
I love the format for this series. The intro/wrap up do not detract from the game play, and the table talk re: decisions helps maintain the flow of the game (as opposed to cutting away for an explanation). Looking forward to watching more!
I love the concept of this in-person/on-camera series where you're running a deck through its paces. One feedback comment I have, and it might not be as feasible when it's an in-person table and there's a lot of triggers being thrown around, but visually the cards popping up all over the screen and disappearing while other triggers are still going off makes it hard as a viewer to track what's still on the stack. Again, I completely understand if not feasible because there's an additional component of the table that's not in your normal narrated gameplay videos
This editing is great. Love the music too. Heading the table talk while keeping the game fast paced is great! Looking forwards to more of these in the future
The game was very entertaining to watch and this level of production quality is going to make it difficult to enjoy other cedh content on any channel now! Fantastic stuff.
Brutal game. Cool video format! I'm enjoying the table banter, impressed by everyone's tight trigger announcing. (I do also like narrated games - they feel a bit more relaxing because there's not as much going on, sound-wise.) Keep up the good work!
Good stuff, is really refreshing to be able to see the table talk amongst you guys for the first time. My only critique would be that the life totals for mike and cal were a bit hard to read (especially cal). Not sure if that was glare on the screen or if it was just the choice of fonts, but it should be something pretty easy to play around with either way :)
This was great watching a control deck in cedh because oftentimes it just doesn’t seem viable. I’d love to see this control deck go up against something like birgi!
Absolutely love the editing and hearing the table talk! Any way we could see life totals on screen instead of just on the phone in the middle? Keep up the great work!
Great video. It's awesome you guys are making this kind of content! But if I had to comment, I think the video would look better if the lighting was brighter and a bit lower contrast. That would make it easier to see your faces and the cards and lighten the mood a bit, visually.
Cal is awesome. Like the crew is, but I’ve met cal at Glendon and he’s super cool and friendly even to a rando like me. Also his femur pirates dedication is impressive. 😂
rooting for Greg because of the timely, 10 year anniversary of the neighbourhood's debut record, I love you. I wonder if it was planned to drop the week of the anniversary 🤔
nice edit and cool animations, guys! You're such a role model for all cedh creators. Hope you'll like ou animations as well! UA-cam will start soon! ;)
It would be great if you noted starting hands and then after the game record the pilots talking about why they keep that hand and what their plan was going forward and have it as the intro. Similar to cEDH TV gameplay content
Question to Cal: why not playing somthing like "Freed from the Real" or "Pemmin's Aura" if you played Lightning-Rig Crew? I have see a lot player without this cards, but I played those in my budget cEDH grixis pirates and they can win.
Loved the format, loved the video, and everyone was great. Sadly, the match was a bit boring. Might have to do with the fact that i really dislike Thrasios. I have great expectations for this series, though. Keep it up!
I’m 2 minutes into the game, and it feels like there’s way too many cuts between players and the table. It’s like a cut every 1-2 seconds, and it’s pretty disorienting.
Spiteful play by casting Force of Will on the Opposition Agent, when he knew another player just needed to untap to win, and he didn't even have something to deal with the Buccaneer.. kingmaking move
I've never understood why commander players chant "untap upkeep draw" and yet no one ever announces "empty attack step, second main, end step, cleanup". Seems unfair to the back half of the turn cycle.
"I don't need to crack my treasures in response to Dockside. What's the worst that could happen?"
- Mike, last words
Don't get me wrong, I love Ryan's narrations. But also, table talk is great
Absolutely!

This is the perfect format for youtube mtg if you ask me. Table-talk, great overview of the cards with the floating animations. God tier honestly.
What a banger of a game. Watching everything play out real time and hear thought processes was super nice.
My favorite part was the Lighting Rig Crew resolving. That was a blast to put together.
Thank you for editing! :D
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG and thank you.

Woah now this is pog
I've been watching the channel since the beginning, and this is by far the BEST format/video edition. Congratulations, hope to see more gameplays in this style!
Ok..I dont usually like non commentated games but this…was stellar.
Fast, clear, fun, and powerful. Well done!
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE! it's so sick - congrats y'all
Thank you!!!

This video format was amazing! The edits/animation, seeing the folks, the table talk, and overall production quality were top notch!
Great game, but damn, also just great quality content. Very nice, very polished, love the table vibes. Hat tipped to you guys, you knocked it out of the park.
Love ALL these folks! Thanks for the new series!

Wow y'all brought the HEAT good stuff.
The game was very entertaining to watch and this level of production quality is going to make it difficult to enjoy other cedh content on any channel now! Fantastic stuff.
What a great video. Awesome to see a table top video, but condensed to a reasonable time like your normal videos are.
Brutal game.

Keep up the good work!
Love this video format, seeing the players and a bit more context to the game. ❤
I also started watching this channel for the narration on other vids (the cadence and tone is incredible) so please don’t totally switch gears either!
Thanks! This won’t replace our current gameplay series. It’s just a new way for the community to enjoy Cedh.
I really like the new video style. Great work guys
Love this concept, and that intro was *bonkers*. Love seeing innovation in the cEDH content sphere.
Edit: also, POG
Good stuff, is really refreshing to be able to see the table talk amongst you guys for the first time.

Holy production value. This was amazing, thanks
One of those games where I appreciate other people sacrificing previous Dockside treasures to prevent later docksides from getting too much value
the video, the game, it was absolutly insane. The only thing that may be changed is have the stack much clearer but it was really cool like that
Just built a vial/thras control and this came, good to know some new tech
Loved the table talk in this episode, interesting to see into the players' minds
What a wonderful style of gameplay video, very well done 😊
This was great watching a control deck in cedh because oftentimes it just doesn’t seem viable.
I’d love to see this control deck go up against something like birgi!
Wait.... a fresh take on cedh content? I legit didnt think that was possible. Love it.
Love this new style! Keep it going!!
Love the stack interaction from this game, table talk was a nice surprise as well (love Ryan's narrations still ofc)
That was a fun game! Some crazy stack interactions and tight lines.
Excellent win by Greg. Also there's more than 3 Curious Control pilot's :p.
prove it :kekw:
Absolutely love the editing and hearing the table talk! Any way we could see life totals on screen instead of just on the phone in the middle?
Keep up the great work!
Congrats on this masterpiece segment. Keep it up team playing with power.
Great stuff!! Looking forward to the next.
Great video. It's awesome you guys are making this kind of content!
But if I had to comment, I think the video would look better if the lighting was brighter and a bit lower contrast. That would make it easier to see your faces and the cards and lighten the mood a bit, visually.
Yep! We are new to this and are learning as we go. We will improve with every episode. Thanks for the feedback!
Cal is awesome. Like the crew is, but I’ve met cal at Glendon and he’s super cool and friendly even to a rando like me. Also his femur pirates dedication is impressive. 😂
Like the format that showcases the players a bit more.
EXTREMELY POGGERS VIDEO! I AM POGGING!
i l;ike the slower pace of this game compared to the normal narration style. keep both
We will!
Awesome video and edits 🔥🙌🏻
once niv mizzet got cast, all hell broke loose but Greg was able to keep on top of it.
As someone who has spiked myself on a stopping a win with Pact I think going forward it's best just to go to game 2. Sitting out kind of stinks 😅
My favorite part of the game is Cal going, maybe I need to sleeve Rashmi up again 😂
lived up to the hype! great video !!
Seriously pog video series. Looking forward to future pogs!
amazing series! More please!
Working on it!
Love the new series!! Great game and loved the commentary!
rooting for Greg because of the timely, 10 year anniversary of the neighbourhood's debut record, I love you. I wonder if it was planned to drop the week of the anniversary 🤔
This was so entertaining. Keep'em coming, please.
nice edit and cool animations, guys! You're such a role model for all cedh creators. Hope you'll like ou animations as well! UA-cam will start soon! ;)
This is the best cEDH content ever.
Thank you!
This is awesome. Great idea for a show. ❤❤❤
YEAHHH hope this series becomes a main stay
Great piloting by Greg!
sick game fellas. love this content. keep at it. thanks
Love the editing great work!
Love this new series already ❤
Gregs deck was insane, but he also played it really well!
Bring back the opening hand! Really enjoy seeing everyone’s mulligans
Looking forward to more of these!
op agent the fetch land... brutal lmaooo
Lightning Rig Crew is my favourite cEDH card
Great game Greg!!
Banger of a game
Rocco player just feeding the dockside and doing nothing with the treasures....
It would be great if you noted starting hands and then after the game record the pilots talking about why they keep that hand and what their plan was going forward and have it as the intro. Similar to cEDH TV gameplay content
I will wait for my man ashani and his korvold deck with passion.
Great vid!

Zack seemed a taaaaad salty about the Seedborn things XD
Niv Mizzet the video
great production quality, maybe need better stack visuals. keeping track of niv triggers on screen is always a challenge.
Daaaaam, the plays!!
This was an awesome episode
GREEEEEEEEGGGG!!!
It’s about time!
Loved the format, loved the video, and everyone was great. Sadly, the match was a bit boring. Might have to do with the fact that i really dislike Thrasios. I have great expectations for this series, though. Keep it up!
Would like to see a take on a Yuriko deck 🤫
That was great!
LETS GOOOO
Let`s Go !
Love the video!!
That game FLIPPED when mike didn’t crack his treasures
Cal in the A.S.S!!!
Mfw somebody recognizes that 😂
Amazing
That intro is HOT 🔥🔥🔥
the winning list played a dimir signet thats not on the list provided, maybe have dimir signet inplace of talismam of dominance
This is some top-tier shit
