  • Today we explore the beautiful Daintree National Park and try to find the MUST SEE spots in the area,
Daintree is the only place in the world where two world heritage sites meet. You have the rainforest that literally collides down to meet the Great Barrier Reef.
Our day begins with a walk on Cape Tribulation Beach and we cannot believe we have the entire beach to ourselves!
We go as far north as we can in the van and explore swimming holes along the creek where we meet a couple locals who share a less known swimming spot that does not disappoint!
It is amazing how few people are around as we take in the beauty of Daintree before we make our way out to the Tablelands.
Daintree is the oldest rainforest in the world and it truly is breathtaking.

WARNING. Please do not randomly swim in this region. The whole area is populated by man-eating crocodiles. You are taking a big risk.

Well, the two locations in which they swam looked clear and not murky. The murky water's where the bottom is not visible is dangerous. I have seen many videos of warnings not to swim at Daintree national park, however me personally would not even dare lol

FYI, the blue hole is a sacred site for the aboriginal people of the Daintree and men are forbidden to swim in it and ladies need permission. I know you guys didn't know, many don't, but i want to warn others. Next time you are in the Daintree, try out some of the indigenous experiences and it will open your eyes to the magic of the rain forest :-)
