Nicely done Toby. I've been camera trapping for around 6 months now and had some of my best ever wildlife images in that short time. As for flashes, I have also used Nikon SB24 and SB25's which work just as well as the SB28. As for a snoot, a Pringles container works great and you have the added bonus of having to empty it first. 😁
New to camera trapping, I have been commission to capture the wildlife on a private estate (I know, paid to photograph wildlife on over 100 acres of private land!). Been testing out a few spots with a trail cam and have found the fox’s den and cub. Could not find the unit you have but have bought the Cognisys Scout which should do me proud. Question - Have you ever had the foxes or badger chew you kit? Thanks for the video, maybe you could put the trail cam up to watch the DSLR setup? Would be good reference when reviewing the photos and if the kit gets nicked, you or the police might be able to ID them.
