Another good watch Graham and a nice stealthy pitch - a couple of times I've nearly pitched there but I ended up having van nights in the carpark due to high winds. Thanks Donna, it’s a great part of the county to explore, lots of history going on. There often seems to be a van at the carpark overnight, such a great landscape to spend the night in. Adrian is very sincere and down to earth, a nice fellow. TFW, Graham 👍👍
@@grahamswildcamping I'm still in the old habit of calling my vehicle a 'van' - it's a converted Berlingo I drive now, a wee stealthy microcamper ;) Yeah there's history going back thousands of years around those parts, it's an area which has it all - valleys, hills, rivers, forests. I remember watching that mystery box video. Was well surprised with what you had with it. This was a great camp location to be fair but I know Adrian likes a ditch 😅. Can't beat an Aberdeen Angus burger... OK the fillet steak probably would have but atleast that holidays paid for 👍 In all honesty I think Ainsley would have woffed that food down but yeah Gordon would have slapped you 🤣

Hi Graham, I have mixed feelings about using the name Fell Wanderer, rather than my own name Damian Robson for UA-cam. Originally, I wanted something unique and Fell Wanderer fitted the bill, with hindsight, I always felt being in the shadow of the Greatest Fell Wanderer of all time, Alfred Wainwright, without doing much wandering myself. I actually don't like being the called Fell or the Fell Wanderer. Consider using your own name as the best option because some UA-camrs do ok so its not important what name you use anyway. Just do what feels right for you because you are the content creater. What feels right with you matters the most before your audience or trolls. My brother calls me the Fell Wa*kerer and trolls have called me the warm weather wanderer or fair weather wanderer soft c**t. My point is, names don't matter and if you get trolled, wear it like a badge, their negative comments just excells you and your creativity to the next level anyway if you are confident and creative. The fact you told the story now about crag shuffler shows you understand my philosophy of UA-cam. Wear names like a badge, especially between friends. Piss take wild camps are sometimes the best.

I think you own that name ‘Fell Wanderer’ and I certainly wouldn’t worry about trolls. Plus I do more wild camping than hill walking so feel the name isn't quite suited to the channel than what I originally envisioned. That being said, its just a name like you mentioned and I've made it my own by making watchable content people enjoy. I'm humbled by the amount of subs and it baffles me why some channels do well that I would class as not being very good and others which are amazing, get little attention?. My views are subjective and what I enjoy, other people might think is shite. Maybe its the algorithm and you have to jump through certain hoops to be noticed by UA-cam? Your channel is good Graham and I'm sure it will continue to grow into the future. ATB.
