I'm so excited to get this game! It's slowly getting through customs and to my local courier. Now I love the channel, so please take this as constructive criticism, but for a how to play video this seemed quite unstructured. Totally might be intentional, but made it more difficult to follow. If this is to be an official how to play, can I suggest a couple of things that might make it easier for folks to follow: close ups/B cam of the components when you're talking about them; timestamps of different rule/component explanations; and maybe an explanation up front about the main steps in the game and what the victory conditions are. Anyways, otherwise this just makes me more excited to get it in front of me. Keep up the great work. Quack!

I suspect this might be by design or intentional, but please give the format a consideration and why people look at how to play videos and why they work as they do.
Not a good how to play. Alot of unstructured, rambling and semi-coherent chatter. The dude with the fisherman's beard talked way too much! At one point they were talking over each other and seemed like they were competing to talk the loudest. Sorry but this video wasn't for me.
Appreciate the start time noted. I can make a video that is straight teach and timestamps too. In the meantime, this is as official as we have and we appreciate Quackalope taking the time to help us get something at release time.

Mr partner and I played flamecraft and we need a clarification for Bubu Fancy Dragon. Does the point counts if you have 0 goods instead of 1 or 2? Please tell me it doesn't count!!! It's a war over here. Ugh!!!
I have question about Fancy dragon Taylor (When placing a dragon, gain 1 heart for each of same type in town) if I place a meat dragon and there are 6 fire dragon in town is already 6(hearts) and when I fire up my meat dragon I get to place another dragon, let’s say Bread dragon, do I also get hearts from bread dragons in town? Thx 🙏🏾 if so this card is very powerful and in the mid-end game can score lots of points by just placing Dragons in town
Picked this up on Wednesday last week at my local game store, and good heavens it's amazing. It's pretty much all I wanted to play all weekend and as of now, I've only managed to accomplish one of the achievements so it's going great! The art is amazing, the quality of the components is amazing, the art is phenomenal and it's super fun solo! I can't recommend it enough.
Really sad I missed out on this on Kickstarter, lots of super cool bonuses, hopefully some of the little accessories like the bookmarks and the art book get released separately eventually.
Played it tonight and it is getting a repeat performance next game night. The game looks great, and it looks like a childrens game from the art, but wow, it is a thinkie beast.

Ok i have to add that the rules in the book are not very well explained, everything is explained in isolation with not too many examples and is necessity to search for this video and similar, should have included something like a playthrough example or people will start arguing about the rules instead of playing , oh well 3rd try might be lucky,
Im a bit late to the party, but I've had my eye on this for a few months, and just got a copy for my birthday! Looking through some videos to learn how to play so i can have a few games with my wife to get to grips with it, and then teach my game group soon!
I find myself drawn to the fun and whimsy of this game. I like the puns of the shops. The only bad part is that I didn't back it on Kickstarter. More than likely I will back it when they do the next KS version and the expansion.

So I just got my hands on Flamecraft at PAX East (where I had the joy of meeting Professor Meg and Alex from BoardGameCo, was totally surprised and was a pleasure to meet them), I could not believe they had copies there as you can't find it online. I am prepping now to introduce friends to this game tonight
I had pre ordered my copy from the website abit after the kickstarter ended so just missed the window but just got my delux copy today so needless to say super duper excited thanks guy for the run threw think me and my GF gonna do a duo run threw tonight so during game night we have an advantage against the others in group 😂😂😂
Just played it at our local library with 4 kids and they were all hooked the whole game, it was so easy to teach but still looks like fun playing with adults.

Ahh, Bubu does score 0s of goods. Having little remaining goods is what makes them happy.

Cheers! Taylor doesn’t score for meat and bread in your example - its one type in town scoring. Hope that helps!
