While I look back at this time and enjoy the good in it, there is now undeniable regret surrounding what used to be a tentpole of the channel and its early days in light of all that has been alleged concerning TribeTwelve's creator, Adam Rosner (Noah Maxwell). Fun fact: Adam actually wanted to record the first few episodes as a homage to Marble Hornets, which explains all of the operator symbols. He then wanted to make the series his own and started creating more original ideas.
Ah. I see. That explains the somewhat similar plots from MH at the beginning.
Like the same style
If you wanted to, you could probably link all of the Big Three into a shared Slenderverse. For the record, IIRC, one of the last bits of EverymanHYBRID content had a phone-call from a character who might have been some version of Tim, who I think remembered some of the previous iterations. And of course there's the cameos of the EMH boys and Noah in their respective serieses, along with the hint-links in early TribeTwelve.
It sounds like a stretch, but at the very least I reckon it holds more water than whatever that Tommy Westphall Universe theory was.
GmodPlusWoW I don’t recall MH having any type of iterations going on, which makes it one of the few slender series to not deal with timeline fuckery, which is cool in it of itself just being random people afflicted by a monster as opposed to the “destiny” and other cool stuff the EMH and TT series brought
I'm not sure, and it's probably just a coincidence, but I feel like Noah's name is sort of a tip of the hat to totheark.

Never plug in a random flash drive to your pc, always run a simulation windows system on your pc (it acts as a box to keep malicious software from effecting your pc, it’s very effective from what I’ve heard) another option is to get a cheap laptop from a thrift store or and old pc at your house that you don’t need or have anything of value on to sacrifice.

I moved to Florida and yeah, Slender was right. I mean, I love it here but it's not for the faint of heart.
I don't think even, Slenderman can handle Florida and it's *some of the more special inhabitants,* they honestly would scare him off.
Man it really hurts watching these knowing all the shit with Adam. The art is still amazing, the puzzles and the story are still awesome, and knowing how the story ends does bring some satisfaction, but not having it in video form sucks. What’s worse is knowing how badly he misused his status and ended up hurting a lot of people from ego. Nothing but love for those he hurt, including fans who idolized him and his story

Yeah, how does the story end? As far as I know, Adam never revealed what was meant to happen (at least not yet).
@@gianni50725 Odds and ends got leaked, I’m not sure exactly what but if you search it up people now know a lot of the critical plot twists
Hard same, it's no easier for me (as a longtime viewer) to process these revelations four months later. Part of me wants to see coverage of the "leaked" materials (with full disclosure of the allegations) some months or years down the line, to provide fans a sense of closure on the series, but OTOH I'd completely understand not wanting to give TribeTwelve exposure again after all this. I hope Nick keeps these videos up though.
What'd he do?
You know thinking about it it's kind of amazing how much self awareness the creator truly had and did nothing with. They way he portrays Noah, Pathetic, spineless, begging for someone else to solve the problem for him, unable to accept the pain he caused to others just by doing the things he did. Dude fucking had it, had characters condemn his character for it and even spent episode after episode calling himself awful and Pathetic for actions he was actively participating in off camera. In a way I don't think there is a Noah Maxwell, I don't think there ever was, he's just been himself, every episode, that is kind of tragic in a way, while he doesn't deserve forgiveness, I hope that it gets through to him and he actually tries to accept his consequences, I really do.

I actually find the in-universe explanation for the Collective’s videos super cool. According to Adam (the creator), the black-and-white videos are the Collective translating their thoughts into a form we can comprehend. This is why the Observer’s videos seem so one-track, and why Firebrand’s seem so vague. Observer’s sole method to his goals is to torture Noah into seeking the Journal. Firebrand’s sole method is conveying messages while avoiding breaking the loop.

First Slenderseries that's actually made me scared and apprehensive to keep going, and this is just this Explained video. Not a fan of jumpscares of any kind, they feel cheap, but they are pretty creepy here. And if Unknown Caller isn't terrifying nothing is.

For real? I found this pretty boring, I'm struggling to get through it I'm just so disinterested. Oh look some camera glitches and weird noises, shakycam footage of random stuff, ooh a bunch of 1s and 0s on computer screens, super sp00py distorted whispers, 'I can't sleep, still can't sleep, oh how I wish I could sleep, still no sleep'... Eh, it's really formulaic and slow paced, I really wanna get into the story but it's just plodding along so slowly and uninterestingly that it's distracting from the actual story.

That USB could have easily had a tracking program/device, and a keylogger. Thus any point after he plugs the drive in, the original owner could easily track him and steal his accounts. His added "security" is thus meaningless.

I'm pretty sure that "he took me to the dark place today no light graces this place" is a reference to Marble Hornets. In Marble Hornets totheark refers to the other place where the Operator takes Alex's victim's bodies as a dark place, or without light.

It's really a shame what happened with Adam Rosner. This was one of my favorite args out there, but it's been tainted for me since I found out what he did.
Part of me is still holding out hope that it was all a sham and he didn't do what he did, but I highly doubt that's the case.
If he was innocent, he was come out and say it, not hide out. He has since deleted his patreon, videos (Nimbus Films), and social media accounts save for TT

For me TribeTwelve is one of the only few series I can separate art from artist, namely because Adam was only the actor and the majority of the puzzle and story stuff came from other contributors. Adding in the fact I was already up to date with the content, I was able to view the story as it’s own separate thing and Noah as Noah, not as a guy played as Adam.
Amazing intro, you managed to make it look just like the TribeTwelve style. Also, it's so weird hearing you swear so aggressively then going back to speaking in a formal, friendly voice xD.

@Milena Shvedova Sure. I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying the experience (although it's probably dead now and never really went anywhere) but it does kind of cast an uncomfortable shadow over things to know that the creator and main character is a manic sex pest.
@Milena Shvedova I mean, people can be into whatever weird shit they want, I'm personally more concerned about him using his influence to coerce and pressure young girls into doing things they'll most likely come to regret. If someone finds some sort of erotic satisfaction in the concept of "transformation" as though medical transitioning is like huddling up in a pupa and emerging a butterfly a couple of weeks later or whatever - I mean, that's weird, but it's harmless. Pressuring people into providing services they aren't fully on board with is not.

Wow, only 5mins in and it really hits home. My cousin actually tried taking his life a few years back after he badly beat up his mom and had a mental breakdown. I looked after him the next months until he tried manipulating me into doing something stupid and dangerous.

It was a dark and stormy night. at the foot of my bed was a creepy little girl in a white dress with huge black eyes and an unnatural grin. I didnt think anything of it and continued to play a hyper realistic version of the old retro game of "angry birds" on my phone that an anonymous hacker had blackmailed me into playing. Instead of the score it said "You shouldn't have done that" and the pokemon theme song started playing in reverse. It started to affect me as i had problems sleeping with the constant giggles of the girl and the pokemon music. The hacker turned out to be slenderman.

I can't really say when they started. Probably my 10th birthday. I was born at noon right smack dab in the middle of summer. July 31st. I mean, you'd think I'd be the last person in the world to be haunted. But... here we are, with me sitting on my bed while the large thing looked over my shoulder. It seemed like a cross between a lizard, a bird, and a cat, with no eyes and rows of sharp teeth. When I was ten, it was terrifying. This thing that only I could see, and that only seemed to bother me, and that my parents never believed in. But, over the years... the scare factor's kinda worn off. Yeah, it's there, it's unnerving, and it tries to eat my face if I make too much noise, but I've learned to manage. I kinda see it as my own personal demon. At this point, it's more like... a really weird pet. I even named it. It's my Charlie. What I'm more scared of is that guy across the street. I can hear him at night, screaming. He never comes outside, anymore. When we do make eye contact, he pales and runs the other way, his own demons following behind. Maybe he can see Charlie. Maybe he hasn't learned to live with his demons. Oh, well. His problems started last week. If he keeps trying to fight, the only thing he's going to succeed in doing is getting himself killed.

Milo Asher's character helped me realized I was nonbinary, my new name being Milo in honor of him somewhat, seeming as I faced a lot of struggles he did in his past (not the supernatural stuff tho 😔). the sound starting around 0:53 and ending at around 1:15 that kind of sounds like an alarm (it goes high, briefly low and then high again) i can confirm is from a stair elevator chair for elderly people. When i was young my grandma had one and i was allowed to ride it up and down the stairs from time to time, that is exactly the sound it makes.

His production crew and friends cut off ties almost immediately because the evidence was confirmed to be true.

i cant help but find this series strangely comforting, i think its because it was my first ever experience with Night Mind and my introduction into online horror series as a whole but i just cant help but rewatch all these parts whenever i want a good scare
