In the most recent video Alan said, "At least I didn't have to kill someone to exist." Further supporting the claim that Daisy's mother died giving birth.
I mean, going by the "crazy" daisy theory, if Alan if a product of Daisy's mind, then daisy can project her thoughts in Alan as well, which would make him saying that less of evidence, and more of another construct of Daisy's mind
Looking back on that line, it's almost, I don't know, funny that he would say that considering the Alan was made from the severed remains of Daisy's father's lab partner.

Also 35:13 the segment about drawings. Daisy is screaming at Alan 'How do you know what I look like?' and nobody's touching on it. The *blind* baby monster was able to make drawings from angles I still have trouble with as a semi-professional artist. It would be one thing if he roughly knew the shape of Daisy's face and scribbled it out head on, but he composed complex angles that he would have to see from: 1. Daisy's lap 2. Sitting behind Daisy in one of her how-to videos He even did some fucking shading there to really highlight where her jaw and the arch of her brow are. How does a totally blind monster who doesn't respond to his *eye being touched* not only draw from a complex angle, but know to include some shading to really show off?

I think Alan is definitely real in universe, and to say he isn't is missing the point. Much like Alantutorial, the events are real to the characters, but have different meaning to us. And what does Alan represent? Well, he's every abuser ever. He's constantly repugnant and rude, physically abusive at his worst, yet he depends on Daisy to exist and leeches off her. The only way Daisy can win is to abandon him and let him starve. What better metaphor for an abusive prescence than a literal monster?
@Mike Golczynski it's harder than it looks definitely tho. I did a less raunchy version of Avenue Q back in high school and we had made our own puppets to practice puppeteering for roles. It was tricky to keep the sewing straight and make it look ok, so I can only imagine what the cast there do with professional grade puppets. And I can imagine how hard it was to make Alan, something that's supposed to look and feel unsettling, uncanny, and plantlike. It's really ambitious and neat.
@Mike Golczynski The fact that it doesn't look pretty doesn't meant that it is isn't made well. It gave off the exact vibe she needed him to and the puppet keeps constantly evolving too. Don't mistake ugly made with incompetently made. She might not have the budget like a show as sesame street does, but once you let go of your first judgement of how things look, you can actually get really immersed and that's a major achievement with a DIY puppet. And on top of that, a lot of movies do the same, it can look ridiculous when you would place a monster in the real world, but because of the setting, the acting and the story it will come alive and have an actual emotional impact where it would not have in the real world. That's what it means to be alive in his own universe.
Dont forget that he also symbolizes the baggage left over from an abusive relationship. Her dad emotionally and mentally abused her. Alan reminds her of everything her dad said and did, constantly repeating her dads words to her just like trauma does even when your abuser is gone. When she left alan she was finally able to get rid of that baggage and move on from that abuse and trauma.
just gonna say. the scene where Alan was in the Dad's bed talking to her. . .he looked like he was made of paper mache and his teeth were just drawn on. . .
Hi Mr night mind! just want to point out the heartbreaking (at least for me) fact you didn’t point out!! at 42:00-ish when daisy runs back to the house, you alluded to the fact it was because she was afraid of cars. but, if you had shown the clip before, she had been listing things that would go in pie, various fruits and stuff, but most importantly, strawberry. the name of her cat. she realized she left strawberry behind. the defenseless animal was left with alan, whom we know is violent. she realized that her cat was hurt, or worse (which we find out in later videos, the worst did happen.) just thought i’d point that out, btw i love your videos!
Sorry but huge mistake in thinking that the "Mother" captions are Daisy romanticizing her mom. Those are parts of the story from the mother's - Rose - perspective. Her thoughts while dying, a date with Curtis - Daisy's dad. Some of those captions are quite clearly meant to be read as dialogue in a book, imagining the scenes yourself, which is genius. Daisy is a big fan of books and reading, which I think is a clue on how to read some specific types of captions throughout the series. Also, I believe Rose was an artist. Possibly a painter. And Alan is so good at drawing because he has some of her DNA in him, as he is for sure one of numerous attempts Curtis made to recreate his wife, or even partially bring back her conscience/perpetrate her DNA in something that wasn't the "thing" that killed her - Daisy.
I am... very late to the party on this one but I thought i'd add, there is something else that suppourts the theory that she was an artist, or at least had an interest in art. In the captions that describe her death, she says "Dying is an art, like everything else. I do it exeptionally well" This is a quote from a famous poem called "Lady Lazarus, by sylvia plath.
I know this is a very small piece in the video, but I think Daisy started to run because she remembered her cat Strawberry was still in the house. I think this because right before she started to run, she was talking about favorite fruits or something like that. She paused right after she mentioned strawberries, then started to run. Stupid thing for me to rant about, but I wanted to mention it.
Edit: trigger warning for dicussion of abuse and trauma. I should have added this from the beggining, I know that now, but some of you are fucking nasty. . The bell pepper moment reminded me a lot of the abuse I suffered as a child. She's sitting in a room and trying to distract herself from the noises Alan is making in the background. There's a lot of things she wants to do outside of the bedroom, but can't, because the mere presence of Alan outside of the room confines her in. I many times would starve myself because I simply couldn't leave my room. I also know of abuse victims whose parents would forbid them from eating and they were forced to sneak food into their bedrooms, hide any signs that they had eaten or taken food from the stock and learn to be silent at all times. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking but it gave me that exact vibe.

Someone on the team of this webseries definitely had training in art. The puppet Alan does take some skills to make, especially the blisters and sores. The drawings require skill in life drawing.
I don't know, Alan is actually really disturbing and I can't quite tell why. He's super obviously fake, but the way he's characterized and Daisy's interactions with him kind of make him terrifying. I'm not usually disturbed so easily by things like this, but he really freaks me out lol.
Especially when she was making friendship bracelets, as Alan groan from another room, and even knocking on Daisy’s door. It’s like a family member, but deeply corrupted.
It's like looking at a fucked up Yoda. I believed Yoda was legit because the puppetry was good. In the context of Alan, he's portrayed as a gross shitty mistake upfront. So basically, all his behavioral expectations are subverted. Anything Alan does has impact from this point.
Daisy: [explaining black mold] Daisy: [mentions Lynks disease] Me, having just watched This House Has People In It a couple days prior: OooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
As an extension of the abusive relationship theory, I wonder if Alan is a manifestation of her dad's abuse. The fact that Alan rips her hair out when her dad threatens it etc, suggests that Alan is the residual monster created from her father's abuse, still keeping her hostage even now. And of course she wouldn't protest against it, because it's what she grew up learning. SPOILER AHEAD Does that mean Daisy killed her dad? Like she did Alan?
Good point! Alan could most definitely be a callback because in my eyes, the house is her mind, this is her trying to over come the abuse and start living without him. I watched a video, where they referred to the series in an incredible way. They said, this series is a flowerpot, Daisy, is the daisy, in an empty flowerpot we’re a rose once was keeping the daisy company. After the rose died(btw her moms name was Rose) a weed began to grow(the weed being Alan) and began to overtake the daisy’s home. To keep the daisy company, a strawberry bush(she had a cat named strawberry) was planted, but the weed ended up killing the strawberry(Alan killed strawberry) after a while a Lithop was planted(Alan threw daisy into the basement where she meets another experiment named Lithop) the Lithop began to stop the weeds advance, eventually killing it.(Daisy, with the unintentional help of Lithop, is finally able to end Alan) Hope this makes sense it probably doesn’t.
No I'm pretty clear her dad just left. the fact that he left a tape recorder behind saying he was leaving her tells us that I think. Not a bad Theory though
I'm giving Alan a diagnose of these fists. Ask your doctor if you're ready for them Alan, because side effects include getting destroyed till your heads insides go out.
*This diagnosis is common with people who have symptoms of: -Irrational behavior patterns -Constant anger -Murderous intents to a girl -Being abusive (physically and/or mentally/emotionally) If you are diagnosed with "Catching these hands" please find a person who will offer you 'help' and 'catch those hands' with your face.
The "Dying is an art, like everything else. I do it exceptionally well" bit is a reference to a Sylvia Plath poem called Lady Lazarus. Considering the strange collections of poetry that Daisy finds in her father's attic, it's reasonable to suggest that she has at least some influence on what's put in the closed captions, at least in reference to her mother. Also, generally, Lady Lazarus is about a narrator who feels she's being destroyed by herself, but can never truly die. In her endless self-destruction, the narrator is disgusted by everyone else seeing her life as "a miracle", and decides that if she can't die, she will drag everyone she can into destruction with her. The chaotic hell she's living comes to a point where she feels like she has no body, where she is condemned to drive herself and everyone around her into madness. These qualities could be attributed to Daisy's mother, as she is no longer physically present and arguably brought Daisy into this madness, or Daisy and/or the author, as they are dragging the audience into their madness by creating the web series. So that might be relevant.
Cowboy Bebop my memory is that Lady Lazarus is more directly about the suicide attempts Sylvia Plath made and how she was not only upset she had survived but how she felt the people in her life had turned her pain into a spectacle. one line is about them eating peanuts while watching her; she felt they didn’t see her emotional suffering with actual empathy, they just saw her as “the poor, troubled person in their life who tried to kill themselves and isn’t that crazy?” The title of the poem is also a reference to Lazarus, a friend of Jesus who he brought back from the dead (though I’m sure you knew this)
lila I That's true, I was just trying to talk about the poem in a way that would be more applicable to Daisy Brown. I was hesitant to bring up the suicide and Lazarus parts because I wasn't sure if biblical themes or suicide were that present in the series so far. They could be later though, so it's good to keep in mind
I love when Daisy does the UA-cam beauty blogger/lifestyle blogger thing of holding your hand behind an object to better show it to the camera, but she does it to the strangest objects. Like the bell pepper.
i wonder if alan is symolism for an abusive relationship. or just abuse in general. starting out as in insignificant blob and slowly growing more grotesque.
@@societysmostambiguousgirlb1495 It's a common subject, sure, but for something like this where the comparison/metaphor is so nuanced and easy to draw parallels for (especially considering her "Final Video," now up on her channel), it would be a shame to set it aside for being _too cliche._
I feel like the “of course it’s fake, to you,” is saying that we’re asking the wrong questions. Like, yes, it is very fake, but that doesn’t mean that it’s fake for the characters. Characters don’t know that they’re in a story. What is happening is very real for Daisy. Just my opinion.
As someone who has had MANY near-death experiences - That is EXACTLY the kind of thing that goes through your mind. The important things. The things you're missing. Whatever is immediately relevant or on your mind. You KNOW what matters to you when you experience that, and time slows down to let you contemplate it. I suspect the implication is that Alan gave her the memories, the same way he induced the dream and produced the pictures of the dying woman.
The dream in which Daisy mentions the woman "melting into the floor" reminded me of this house has people as well...great job as always with your break downs...the amount of time and care you put into these vids is absolutely mind blowing! Thank you!
Renee Brady watch a movie called "get out" written and directed by jordan peele. there is a part in the movie where a woman tells the guy to sink into the floor and he goes "no no no no"
@@internetspookies I think it's meant to maybe seem like she's hitting him there, but that she's actually hitting herself. Especially with how violent Alan clearly is toward her and how scared she is of him.
I love the friendship bracelet video so much Just casually speaking (the screams of tormented souls in the deepest pits of hell crying for help) some more casual speaking
I don't think Daisy wrote the captions. Not only do they comprise of several conversations that she could never have heard or even know about, I think the biggest indicator is that they're all grammatically correct. Throught everything, her edits, her twitter, and her descriptions, EVERYTHING is written like a kindergartner. I think the purpose of this is to show that the captions couldn't have been written by her. Perhaps a third party such as The Author introduced in that one vid? Just my two cents.
The character of Daisy couldn’t possibly have written them, yes, but the question is whether it’s actually another entity or if Daisy is acting in-universe too.
I find the idea of Daisy being a loon that acts in universe a very interesting idea, and it's a nice way of suspending disbelief in light of the unfortunately low production value (especially with that hand in the latest vid that was, while effectively disturbing in context of the story, really silly to look at) but I think that the story is meant to be told genuinely.
I think the vlog cutting between daisy and Allen crawling asserts that the medium rules dont matter. We're being asked to treat this as a film more so than a vlog.
Daisy’s newest upload (Hateful Thoughts) has so much going on.. The camera focusing on blue chairs that are knocked down, while Daisy sobs that she doesn’t understand being questioned about lynks’s disease. I mean, holy shit. There’s so much I recognize, and so much I’ve learned from your channel Nightmind, but I’m so confused. Loving Daisy’s series though, as well as your content! I can’t wait for you to cover this in the future🖤
I think that Alan is a giant metaphor for abuse. I think that he is supposed to represent Daisy's dad. Maybe Daisy's dad wasn't always abusive, but he had a moment where he went off the deep end. A parent who goes on a bender often returns home very weak and tired. A lot of times, their child is the one to care for them, like Daisy does with Alan, nursing him back to health. As he gets 'better' (stronger) he starts becoming more and more violent, turning on the same person that offered him compassion at his lowest point. Daisy often finds herself unable to leave her room. Sometimes she can't even be at home for fear of further harm. I think that, Daisy not being allowed outside is also a metaphor. A home can sometimes be a child's whole world, and being forced to leave that can feel like a violation, a breaking of an unspoken (or in this case spoken) rule.
...Alright the whole "Want to get on my bad side? Try gamejacking" quote you just did was honestly intimidating as hell. NM, you should totally try being a voice actor sometime, your voice is just. Amazing for intimidation. Soft, yet powerful.
I'd call Nick a voice actor already, who mostly sticks to voiceovers for this channel. I mean, I agree totally and this channel demonstrates that very well. I'd love to hear his character voices too. I wonder how much Nick's voice here resembles the man behind the curtain's day to day voice.
OK, beyond that, I have been going back over the Tribe Twelve and EMH "explanation" videos (more like summaries, in most elements) and Nick is absolutely voice acting as the characters when he reads the relevant tweets, so yeah, I still believe that counts as voice acting too.
I got so excited when she mentioned lynks disease. This House Has People In It was one of my favorite NM episodes (and also a favorite horror short of mine)
The part where Daisy turns the paper to reveal the drawings of herself literally made my jaw drop. Idk why that was the moment that got me but that was excellent omg
Its interesting how she is often bruised and damaged in a lot of the videos you showed, even the early videos. I guess if Allen is real, his abuse has been happening for a while. If allen is fake, she has been self harming as a way to cope in addition to making up this fictional world that is real to her. I guess she could also be abused by someone of camera that she refuses to acknowledge and allen is a kind of manifestation of that. Someone she cares for that is alsonthe cause of her pain. Interesting series so far
Daisy wasn’t running from a car in the video Alan chased her outside. She was running back into the house because she remembered her cat after she was listing off different foods like strawberries (her cats name if I’m remembering it right. If not she listed off the food name). She remembered that she left her cat in the house alone with a meat eating Alan.
I absolutely adore Daisy Brown, and it drives me up the fucking wall that so many people don't see it for what it is and are just quick to judge. I also love the character of Daisy and how sweet and kind she is.
unicornalq11 TOTALLY it is by far my all time most favorite web series&it just rly rly resonates with me in every way. ¬ just because when u look@her liked videos, she&i have very much the same taste in what we watch lol its so creative& deep, much deeper, i think, than we even know yet.
What if Daisy is part monster as well? We barely see her face and she's been taught to never go outside. Plus, she has no "mother" present. What if she was made?
I wondered that too. But we see most of her face in the clip where Alan pulls the blanket off of her. Plus, the drawing Alan made seems to imply she has a fairly humanoid appearance.
I wonder if The Author comment was in response to the commenters going 'lol fake' and 'u can see she's using her arm', so they would play along. I highly doubt it's a new entity and it was a one-time thing. I am pretty sure the Sinatra/blue chair/Lynks disease references were a one-time thing as well, just to pay homage to her favorite creators rather than to show off symbolism.
I agree with you on the symbolism part. When it comes to The Author, however, you have to remember that the channel started in June 2017, and the video where those captions can be found was uploaded around a month ago. Isn't that a little bit late of a response? The owner of the channel had been dealing with the 'lol fake' comments for almost a whole year by that point. Anyone unable to suspend their disbelief regarding the puppet would've already quit watching long ago.
Lemonadder sorry I don’t dive deep into creepy shit so I look for where it is fake and a you notice the flaws like for Alan, you can clearly see her arm is under the blanket and the fact that his eyes are metal balls or something like that. Also the teeth haven’t changed in his “Evolution” plus his hand is wires and clay.
I'm actually surprised that you haven't spoken about gamejacking before. Ben Drowned rather infamously had some pretty bad gamejacking going on during a certain phase of the game, and I don't recall you bringing it up at all in your video on it.
I think the point of his rant was that gamejacking is essentially an activity that requires attention to succeed. So by ignoring it in games where it prominently occurred he's making a statement about it.
He did sort of go into it during his Wyoming Incident videos about how someone took it upon themselves to hijack the whole thing, try to pass it off as some ARG that went downhill and pretty much pulled the curtain back on the illusion and it took years I believe to sort of re-rail the story again.
honestly! i think the problem a lot of these unreality fiction series have is that the actors, even if they're technically good actors, aren't believable because the type of acting required to believably play an unscripted amateur youtuber is so different from stage acting or even acting in movies. she does a great job keeping the balance between strongly expressing the emotions daisy is feeling and still having to sound like just some girl talking to her camera. it's really impressive.
So here's my little take on this: Daisy Brown (reffering to the series itself) is a story telling the tale of the title character "Daisy Brown", in a story that could almost be described following a similar (albeit darker and more twisted) Little Shop of Horrors Daisy is given a small, disgusting little ball of malevolence named Alan. As Alan grows, he becomes more and more of a burden to Daisy's health, mental and physical as he grows stronger, smarter and more aggressive. I'd say this is definitely going to end in the death of either Alan or Daisy. As I see she either ends up realizing far too late that Alan is even deadlier than he seems, or musters the strength to finally kill him.
My impression was that the series is about an abused woman whose torment manifests itself in the form of Alan, and that the "Author" is her abuser, making sure she's never really free. But I like your take as well! It's interesting to see how differently people interpret things.
It might be a bit of a stretch, but I find it interesting that the author character presents itself in a video where a cat is involved, given the parallels with Alice in Wonderland that you pointed out. In the story, the Cheshire Cat is there to confirm to the readers and to Alice that everyone in wonderland has some loose screws, even Alice and Cat itself.
Also that is the only video Strawberry was in, and the caption says "you won't hear from me again". Then the cat is killed. I don't think that was a fourth wall break, it was intentional.
This series is fantastic. The puppet work is lovely, as is the acting. Also: I sincerely want to understand why people in the comments of these series debate whether it, and others like alantutorial, are "fake". Did they not learn the term 'fiction' in high school? Or comprehend what an art project is? Are we at a place in education where young people are genuinely confused about basic genre terms, or even fact and fiction? This bothers me. I'm not trying to be arrogant. I really want to know what the deal is.
I think it's just that series like this happen to be presented in ways similar to how old hoaxes were presented. Namely, there was a video in the 2000's of a man claiming to have injected semen (his) into a chicken egg, the thing squirting at him, and him dropping a heavy textbook on it. And people tried to pass it off as real.
this comment is old as shit but people are SOOOO annoying when it comes to an webseries being possibly fake. like bro. theres a fucking grey monster blob that feeds itself off of sugar. you really think that's not an art project? also people need to start being mad about fourth wall breaks like calm down bro it's not even that bad 😭😭😭
Just gotta say Nick, might not mean a whole lot coming from one randy on the internet, but you're by far my favorite content creator on the platform. I've found a good number of great content creators over the years, but I can't help but feel impressed every time with how much thought and effort goes into your videos. The video flows smoothly, voice is nice to listen to, has that nice bit of light humor that keeps from undercutting the horror being discussed, and often adds more to the content of other creators that then make me want to go back and rewatch them, or at least think them over again, and the long-form content means I have plenty to see. You may take longer to reach certain topics, but the sheer amount of detail in your analysis (*cough* and that bassy voice *cough*) makes it worth it. Hell, oftentimes I'll even play your videos I've already watched in the background while I'm doing something due to how well they can be enjoyed via audio without being completely distracting. Like, I've even been thinking about adding to your Patreon, and normally I never even look twice at the website. Really glad I found you from your Eraserhead collab with Nyx Fears. Keep up the good work, man (cat, Eldritch-abomination-type-thing.. whatever).
Ok so.....the more I look at all the direct references, the fact that Daisy's twitter follows all the same big name ARG's that Nick himself has covered leads me to two conclusions. ONE, Daisy is a fan of Nicks, and she likely got interested in ARG's because of his content, TWO, She is directly following Nick's own models for how to create an ARG. So essentially, this is the first big name ARG to follow the model that Nick has laid out specifically in mind, and that Nick in his own way, is responsible for this series from a certain point of view.
If you check the liked videos on her UA-cam channel you'll see quite a few Night Mind videos as well as some from people he has recommended or collabbed with. I'd say both the creator and the character are fans.

@Mike Golczynski yeah, but in universe, he's real. Just like the puppets in seasame street are real in their universe.
When she left alan she was finally able to get rid of that baggage and move on from that abuse and trauma.
just gonna say. the scene where Alan was in the Dad's bed talking to her. . .he looked like he was made of paper mache and his teeth were just drawn on. . .
Puberty hit Alan like a darn TRUCK

Hi Mr night mind! just want to point out the heartbreaking (at least for me) fact you didn’t point out!! at 42:00-ish when daisy runs back to the house, you alluded to the fact it was because she was afraid of cars. but, if you had shown the clip before, she had been listing things that would go in pie, various fruits and stuff, but most importantly, strawberry. the name of her cat. she realized she left strawberry behind. the defenseless animal was left with alan, whom we know is violent. she realized that her cat was hurt, or worse (which we find out in later videos, the worst did happen.) just thought i’d point that out, btw i love your videos!
also, alan had just started eating meat.
If the series ending isn't Alan getting yeeted out that window, I'll be unhappy

Stupid thing for me to rant about, but I wanted to mention it.
you are correct! The video or so after it addresses said action very lightly. just beware its sad :C
considering her latest video, that makes sense... shame i missed that.

There is also a scream which I assume is Alan before she gets up and runs back.

I like to think this was a project for a art school or something.
ik this comment is super old but she made the puppet single-handedly without formal training

Adding to the abuse thing, Daisy has purple, even partly yellow, bruises on her legs and chest
I don't know, Alan is actually really disturbing and I can't quite tell why. He's super obviously fake, but the way he's characterized and Daisy's interactions with him kind of make him terrifying. I'm not usually disturbed so easily by things like this, but he really freaks me out lol.

SPOILER AHEAD
Does that mean Daisy killed her dad? Like she did Alan?
I don't think so. But, then again, I'm probably wrong.
No her dad had ran away-
To keep the daisy company, a strawberry bush(she had a cat named strawberry) was planted, but the weed ended up killing the strawberry(Alan killed strawberry) after a while a Lithop was planted(Alan threw daisy into the basement where she meets another experiment named Lithop) the Lithop began to stop the weeds advance, eventually killing it.(Daisy, with the unintentional help of Lithop, is finally able to end Alan)
Hope this makes sense it probably doesn’t.
No I'm pretty clear her dad just left. the fact that he left a tape recorder behind saying he was leaving her tells us that I think. Not a bad Theory though

Yeah but it's easy to pull that comparison out for so many things
Specifically I think Alan is representative of PTSD. I detailed why in another comment, but there are far too many specific parallels to just ignore.

Thank you!
that could also be a reference to her birth (or at least her warped vision of it).
hmmm..interesting..I haven't thought of it like that but yeah..could totally be, great observation!

In the video where Alan laughs at Daisy, you can clearly hear the voice shift into Daisy's own mad cackles.

That part where Alan was laughing freaked me out so bad
I think the vlog cutting between daisy and Allen crawling asserts that the medium rules dont matter. We're being asked to treat this as a film more so than a vlog.

I wonder how much Nick's voice here resembles the man behind the curtain's day to day voice.
r/imreallybadass
OK, beyond that, I have been going back over the Tribe Twelve and EMH "explanation" videos (more like summaries, in most elements) and Nick is absolutely voice acting as the characters when he reads the relevant tweets, so yeah, I still believe that counts as voice acting too.
Quote The Dewott it’s hot tbh

Or she is like me, if she goes outside she is going to cut or bruise herself.

Maybe it's both, maybe she wanted to pay an homage and a the same time show off symbolism
Chaos Bearded Gaming and more But did she get that clay...*FROM A PRISON YARD?!?!?!*
I'm actually surprised that you haven't spoken about gamejacking before. Ben Drowned rather infamously had some pretty bad gamejacking going on during a certain phase of the game, and I don't recall you bringing it up at all in your video on it.
JackgarPrime it's the first time I heard the term, but I was aware of the concept when researching fanfictions in various communities.
She does such a good job at acting really normal and realistic. It's one of the best examples of this I have ever seen in this genre.
honestly! i think the problem a lot of these unreality fiction series have is that the actors, even if they're technically good actors, aren't believable because the type of acting required to believably play an unscripted amateur youtuber is so different from stage acting or even acting in movies. she does a great job keeping the balance between strongly expressing the emotions daisy is feeling and still having to sound like just some girl talking to her camera. it's really impressive.
Does anyone else get STUPID EXCITED when the video is an hour long?
I love reading mangos
TheCommonwealthShoe yeah I like the hentail mangos
Smoxey Smores 👌ahh I see your a man of culture as well
Especially a tax on titanic
My friend likes those mangos too. He's an orange-taco
The weirdest part about this series is just the fact that I have those same pajama pants Daisy has-
man vlogs in 2018 are pretty nice

So here's my little take on this:
Daisy Brown (reffering to the series itself) is a story telling the tale of the title character "Daisy Brown", in a story that could almost be described following a similar (albeit darker and more twisted) Little Shop of Horrors
Daisy is given a small, disgusting little ball of malevolence named Alan.
I get LSoH vibes as well!
The LSoH comparison is spot on
Cherry Coke it would be pretty cool to see Daisy beating Alan with a baseball bat and green goop spilling out from Alan lol
The final was just posted. WE WANT A SEQUEL TO UNDERSTAND THESE RECENT DEVELOPMENTS AHHHHHH.
Please.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sequel or we can have a prequel to how Allen was made from the dads perspective
@@jasonfinerty5368 actually good idea
@@hixxy2277 AHHHHHHHHHHH
Daisy’s subscribed to Nick!
Happy Slowpoke I looked through the related channel section and hi I'm Mary Mary
slapping shrimp Omg how’d I miss that??
Happy Slowpoke I know
And Petscop!
Honestly you’ve got the nicest, smoothest voice & it makes these vids 10x better
Hold up... Biting into a raw bell pepper isn't normal??¿¿??
Jayden Griffin I know right...? Tho I don't like bell peppers much. Buy I eat yellow peppers like it's nothing.
What the fuck? You never ate a raw bell pepper?
*Allez Cuisine!*
Jayden Griffin no..

Cheap Chianti most people just dumb
My crack theory is it's a bizarro retelling of The Tempest: Daisy is Miranda, Curtis is Prospero, Alan is Caliban. Makes perfect sense, I'm a genius.
Everyone simultaneously says
_CALLED IT! DAISY BROWN!_
Temmie Plays! Hurrah knew it, it seemed right up to his nocturn ally
Temmie Plays!
Hey Tem! Nice to see you again.
hell yeah it is.
Keep up the good work, man (cat, Eldritch-abomination-type-thing.. whatever).
You should definitely redo this with the full series in mind
"The Eraserhead baby's hip new cousin"
I already love this video
Me when it looked like a potato: Aw, it's pretty cute
After he went through freaking puberty: WTF
What do u think some CUTE thing?
I had no idea everyone was covering this, this video is the first I've heard of Daisy Brown! I'd always watch your stuff anyway though.
Alan may not be a very nice baby, but hey...
*that's a damn good margarita*
