- Recently I got to preach at my good friend Julie Richard's Fearless Mom Conference, and I had way too much fun speaking to just moms. How cool would it be if moms got to have sashes like Girl Scouts with all the badges they've earned?

Holly- I agree with your message. BUT, what if God doesn't provide community? I've never had a community, a tribe. Not as a kid, not in college, not in the workplace, not in church, not in mom life. I haven't even found an eGroup that's the right fit. You make it sound easy- go forth and connect. I can't imagine it's that simple for anyone, especially in these times.
Shelley start one, I went through a dry season of no friends no community, I started to approach people I started to volunteer in my church, when I visited park I would be determined to make small talk with at least one other mom and I got 2 solid friends that I still talk to now. I saw someone going through surgery and would take a meal even I just knew her a little. I have a good group of friends now!!!!!!
