You nailed describing the "pink eye" look as an eye infection look. Although it can be pretty, there is definitely a fine line between lovely and sickly

I love watching you. You are so down to earth and fun. I am 64 and really starting to play with make up. I've always been kind of a tomboy. The thing is I just feel like there are no models that really address make up for older women. It's all about "not having something age you," and they make up is just so boring and not fun. I love your approach where you enhance yourself/who you are, and not try to cover up who you are. Yes, we don't want to advertise certain flaws, but maybe you know what I mean. I want to look natural, but want to have color. Another problem is I have freckles, and neutral to warm skin, I think. Most makeup sits on top of freckles.

After watching the vlog where you unboxed the unfortunately broken Isamaya palette, the beauty of that broken shadow made me pull my finger out and order not only that Lone Star palette but also the Industrial which I'd been dithering over for months. OMG. I am so glad I ordered them - works of art and my *goodness* the shadows are stunning!!
I must admit, I am obsessed by the new Chantecaille palette even as a pink hater, I love this pink mixe with the golden Tone , amazing and still very classy and elegant.

Michele- there is a Swedish ingredient in the yummy skin blushes and the balm that make them feel “powder like”. If I didn’t just have total knee replacement I’d get up and grab my balm to tell you the specific ingredient. I love the balm. I have the universal one and I use it as a primer. I have really oily skin and it keeps my makeup matte and in place all day. ❤

Hey, Michele~I got the Nars blush Quad and was SO excited about it with the shades as they looked, but was SO unimpressed with the baked/shimmer finish.
I have combo dry skin and lives in hot humid weather, my under eye gets drier, dark circles more prominent as I get older. I’ve used concealer from Dior Forever, Cle de peau, Hourglass vanish, NARS creamy, Tarte cream etc.
My favorite was Dior forever new and old formula, it’s not perfect as sometimes it’s patchy and a lil bit creasy.
I bought the new TF concealer after watching your review a week ago. 1st reaction were alright this blends out freaking well and my Huda powder sits perfectly on top, it’s so darn smooth like never before but I still had my doubt. Checking in 8 hours later without look in the mirror or touching up on purpose, I was shocked and amazed that it's still holding up flawlessly. Ever since then I never have to worry about my under eye looking horrible. Although it’s only medium coverage that’s totally fine by me, I’ve accepted that full coverage concealer will always be patchy, dry, crease on me.
I’ve never loved a concealer before and this is the one, I even ran back to the store and bought 4 more! Thanks for the review Michele!

I am on the hunt, as I have said before, for the best concealer and now am torn between the Tom Ford (in that exact color, my color too)(and I have dry skin), and the Dior Forever. I am leaning Dior. You are so fortunate to be able to sample all these products and I am appreciative of you saving us the cost (time and money) of trial and error! 💖💖

audio was fine for me... I wanted to say I learned something from you today that just happened to me... wrong color pink shadow looking like eye infection, i.e. pink eye... thought I had pink eye for several days, but thanks to you I know it was the shadow. (eyes felt fine!) crazy.... have to get that last lighter shade lipstick.

Those were great products! I think I “need” the Tom Ford concealer. I have not caved in to the exorbitant prices of Chantecaille (well, except for two lip chics), but the packaging on this collection is above and beyond beautiful! I guess I am a flower lover. Well yeah, I am a garden designer. 😅 The brown shade in the eye shadow palette really grounds the lighter colors and looks spectacular on you! And the way you showed the Isamaya palette really did it justice. That larger dark shade in the middle would tempt me to use that as a base for those dramatic colors…

Hi Michele! I need your help with the concealer!!! I have previously and successfully used your shade choice as a reference for myself. I used to wear and loved Tom Ford Emotionproof concealer in the same shade as you did, Pale Dune, but now they have discontinued it, and I am lost. Could you please let me know which of 3 (This new Tom Ford Traceless soft matte, Cle de Peau Stick and Dior Forever skin correct concealer) you prefer quality wise? Thank you!
They're all great and depends on your preferences. The Dior is great, but a little messier b/c it's not a solid stick. if you travel a lot or plan on carrying a concealer with you all the time, I would go with a stick. And between the two sticks, the CDP has more coverage, but if your skin is dry I'd go with the TF.
@@TheMicheleWang wow,that was quick! Thank you! Sounds like CDP is the best option! I forgot to ask about the fourth one: Armani Luminous silk concealer. I watched your review from 2020 and you mentioned it as well as a great performer, but just with more satin finish. I think satin finish would be more complimentary in terms of hiding small wrinkles under the eyes. PS: I don't travel, but I do love my concealer to look like i've got nothing on but cover well, haha . Which one would you choose between CDP and Armani? Thank you!😽

No silicone- the Yummy Skin Blush has all the ingredients as the Yummy Skin ' foundation ' but there's pigment!
Great review! I don’t like the orgasm blush either, same issue with the goldish glittery thing, it looks awful on me. I could buy all of the Chantecaille lip chics, that formula is to die for. Somehow I only have two. Thanks for the terrific video!👍💕

It's a shame you didn't pick up the Danessa Myricks Vision Flush Glows shades extensions( so a few more colors like the -was- singular Tiara which is really a highlighter w nooooo shimmer or glitter, if you match yourself well it's incredibly beautiful esp for mature skin and with the Yummy Blush
Speaking of the Yummy Blush( at this point in the video you haven't brought it up) if you like it... I'm the same shade as you in many foundations you've mentioned and I got "Dancing Queen" and I was terrified tbh but a light application gives even fair skin a perfect winter flush!

I always watch your videos on my large tv and the sound was perfect. I saw someone else mention the ads were loud but on a tv, they were just right. So I wonder if maybe she was listening through headphones? You have great cheekbone structure. The Chantecaille blushes look gorgeous and the packaging was really cool.
