Yes. You should definitely buy it. There's so much aftermarket support out there for the C6 that you can do whatever you want to it.

Go for it Dave. Wife and I bought a '19 C7 back in May (coupe, 8 spd. auto). We drive the car much more than we anticipated. You'll find any reason to drive it! I love when we run out of milk or bread...it's great just for quick runs to the store...or even a road trip.

I know you are not a Dodge guy, but I love my Charger and my wife loves her Challenger! Also spotted a VW Bug in the background at the end of the video, bought my daughter a yellow VW bug and I must admit it is super fun to drive. Hopefully VW puts out an electric version soon.
Thank you for pointing out how you don’t have to just like one kind of car. I love my Mach-E but I also loved my 2003 Blazer which is why I was disappointed when GM decided to make it a crossover. However my dream car is still a 75 Gran Torino & my second favorite car is the 79 Trans Am. I honestly don’t know why people have to feel like it’s an either or thing.

I bought my 16y/o son a BMW Z3 with a 5spd, and he loves having a manual. I love knowing he is one of the few teenagers these days who know how to drive a manual.

Really liked this video and your commentary where you said one can like gas cars AND one can like electric cars - so true! Also, totally with you on manual shift cars - they are a blast to drive and bring a smile on one's face everytime you get into it especially if its a sports car. You should buy the vette by the way and tune it up ;-)

My problem is every car I buy , I want to keep forever.. then the mileage is too high to get any kind of money for them , so I just keep them. I currently have 2 .. small SUV and a Pickup...but I want a sports car and a classic car .. like an old Buick or Oldsmobile.

I had a 2011 Grand Sport ten years ago. It was an awesome car but I didn't keep it long. Insurance was expensive and the car is very low to the ground so you really have to watch where you are going. I could never go back to a base corvette after owning a Grand Sport. Now I have a Camaro SS 1LE and I like it better than the Grand Sport I had.

My '10 GS convertible insurance is less than $80 more a year than my 1998 Toyota 4 Runner Limited and it $300 LESS than my '21 Subaru Crosstrek Limited.

The only negative about that particular C6 is the ugly placement of the front plate. Otherwise it’s a keeper.

The C7 is too tight.. When I am in it I feel like my eye level is at the visor level. Could never get comfortable in the C7
