Definitely! But I prefer to pick up Beta if possible. Just coz our first VCR (1982) was a Beta. Eventually, inevitably, with the video store Beta section rapidly dwindling, we had to face the cold hard ugly truth. Turned to the dark side in '86 lol
Nope, i do keep the tapes i loved watching from my youth, like ALLLL the anime and the three TMNT movies and a few other movies, but those i have on DVD, Some of those Anime i have on VHS never got a DVD / Bluray release, and if they did, they got a new audio track, that i do not appreciate.. So kept those VHS tapes.
Are we alway hunting for our childhood but the best feeling is when you link up to that one item that brought you the best memories and joys like your back at home ripping it open and admiring it!
Hi Pixel Dan, thanks for showing this toy show and everything there was excellent, the TJ Aquaman that you showed is the gold armor variant, although that line is small and simple I love it so much, stay heavy and blessings for you and the Pixel family! 🤘😎🇵🇷
Thanks for the kind words about the drawing I did, Dan. It’s crazy seeing one of my drawings in your video. I posted a haul video of what I picked up there. Got that Weapons Pak you show towards the end.
I had a sabretooth projector and also only remembered the x-men projectors. I remember going into a closet, probably squeezing myself in uncomfortably amongst whatever was in there so I could see the projections. I don't think I ever thought of using it on my tv to pretend I was watching the show, and certainly, I never was creative enough to think of making a "video tattoo." Classic commercial haha!
I knew about the Projectors, especially the Lizard one. I have one boxed for my Lizard collection. :D And I remember the Arby glasses too. I think we still have the green stemware with the gold rims.
Those Marvel Universe trading cards were wild! Especially since, at this very moment by pure coincidence, I'm flipping through my binder of series 1 and 2 while watching this video (I was cleaning up and just randomly decided to take the binder off the shelf again to look through).
GREAT prices on the ROM: Spaceknight issues! I'm just ONE issue away from having them all, so I have to go track that one down. Awesome finds at the show Dan.
I began talking to the screen about how un articulated robbie the dino is, then you point out skate boarding with hands in pockets but what about the basketball!? LOL
Last I knew, I still have a loose projector Thing figure. Grabbed it in a yard sale cheap. Too bad it only had one disc as I recall. I need to do some digging and see if I can find it up.
Certain VHS just came up on 4 blank 8hr ones can't wait to record modern stuff on a vintage tru flat RCA with built in vcr and front gaming connections... things from childhood yes...
I remember the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog! Saw some of it on TV but never realized they did toys! They were clearly one of those brands that cashed in on the Power Rangers popularity :P (And I think the Mystic Knights had Irish/Celtic influence? Could be wrong, but I got that impression)
Me and my brothers used to watch Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog on fox kids when we were kids. It's a original series produced by SABAN studios and the only SABAN production that is fully original unlike Power Rangers, Masked Rider, Beetleborgs and VR Troopers that had Japanese footage mixed with original footage. The sad part is that the toys were not available in the Netherlands
I bought a box that you can plug an old land line phone into, and then it bluetooths to your cell phone, so you can make and receive calls on the old phone.
Do you collect VHS?

Absolutely, love the old artwork on VHS! They bring back a lot of nostalgia watching those versions too.
Nah
No
Thank you so much for being our guest and filming this video as well. We enjoyed having you out and look forward to working with you in the Future.
As always beautiful video showing stuff that triggers the best of 80s and 90s nostalgia!

Awesome toys action figures 🎉🎉

Love your toy hunting videos. Thanks Dan. I always look forward to them.
Awesome finds and thanks for sharing
I’ve loved you few videos I’ve watched I’m a big diecast collector and I also love Star Wars

Great video Dan love the Voltron Glow in the dark I think I am going to get that.
I knew about the Projectors, especially the Lizard one. I have one boxed for my Lizard collection. :D And I remember the Arby glasses too. I think we still have the green stemware with the gold rims.
Great video. Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog was a TV show, made by Saban Entertainment. So cool to see the toys.
I'm 100% in favor of physical media.
Having a copy or multiple copies of movies and TV shows that I love will always bring me happiness.
So glad you didnt remove that sticker from the GI Joe carrying case. Just add so much to it.
Love the videos as always!
Awesome toy hunting Dan drop a like for you.
Going to attempt going to a toy fair or collecting event. Is like visiting a toy museum for me. I will spend ages just going around and looking 😊
that garfield special i have on my plex server. the grandma always gets me.

Some Dean Martin in back ground :).. gotta have nastolgic music at those events!!
Okay…my sister and I were really into 90210 and we had those dolls. I have sideburns TO THIS DAY because I thought those dudes were so cool.
Man, I love those old Bettlejuice figures. I rememer finding them in Wallgreens and Genovese (only 40 something NYC kids would know about Genovese).
Santa gave us in 1995 a collection of Aladdin and lion king toys, we never got the Jafar enemy line that ur showing there, so fasinating to see
my parents still have the arby christmas dishes lol
Certain VHS just came up on 4 blank 8hr ones can't wait to record modern stuff on a vintage tru flat RCA with built in vcr and front gaming connections... things from childhood yes...
What a great show! Did Christina buy that unusual Disney piece? Fun vid as always 👍🤘
+1 picking up random videos. _BMX Bandits_ is the one I'm chasing most. Haven't seen one yet. Got a nice one sheet tho, lol...
I've got few dr who vhs still and double cassette vhs from the 1990s 👍
I do have one of those marvel projectors: hobgoblin.
My best friend had that Beetlejuice figure I remember them glasses from Disney By Burger King
I still have a working phone (actually 2) plugged into the wall. I do have a list of some of the comics I need, but it’s printed out. 😮
I was born in Bloomington!

It was also an original creation from Saban
@@Great_Getter Thought as much!
Does this mean we’ll be seeing more Transformers in these toy hunt videos. Because I’m lucky if there’s one in the background.
There’s a gold aqua man in that total justice series? Never knew that
It was a variant, maybe even a chase🤷♂️ too long ago to remember 😅

The total justice superman came with a kryptonite laser, nothing like having a weapon that you specifically have a weaknest to
I have all 3 Beetlejuices and the Tomb
The bootleg TMNT 2012 all of them use the Donatello body if you are missing the main weapons from the OG those can help you out
💪🎃
I just noticed Dan loves beetlejuice 🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Yep. I had the Wolverine Marvel Projector. I inherited it from my cousin; still have it to this day...unfortunately, it does not work.
Great Haul! And finally We got a design for the coming Pixel-Lor figure...right, Mattel?
Dan!!!! Where did you get that turtles button down??!?!?!
Go to Ollie's for those wrestling figures.
Commander cash from robocop was voiced by rowdy roddy piper in the show so it has a wrestling connection
24:13 The price on that Classic 😳
I bought a box that you can plug an old land line phone into, and then it bluetooths to your cell phone, so you can make and receive calls on the old phone.
out of sink baby
The footage, yes. Host segments are fine.
I'm pretty sure you already know Marvel Legends is coming out with a Rom fig.
I just sold an almost complete total justice set to a local toy vendor..
What was the Toy R Us exclusive toy Dan mentioned in this video? I can't find it now.
And, at 15:00, you low-key RickRolled your entire viewership. 😳
Do you use a comic cataloging app? If so, which one?
The bootleg 2012 figures use don or Leo's body but I can't remember what one and have been out since 2013
Did Christina get the Disney figure?
Dan! Whats the best way to contact you for a show?
Greetings from PR
@PixelDanToyHunts does Spencer want a lot of Transformers that I don’t need any more
It's free dish-tv batman @ 24:58
Was the audio sync off for anyone else or was that just me?
It’s okay out of sync on the toy show footage.
Anyone else have a sync issue?
Only in the toy show footage.
@@Thunderwing88 yep
Sounds off dude
