    I'm running the exact same setup to do some ADR for a film. have you found a MS Decoder plugin for Logic Pro X? It Would seem there's no AU Component, Zoom only provide a VST. Thanks for the video!

    cool, when you use h6 as interface, can it still record into sd card at the same time?

    i have the zoom h6 and mac and logic. i am considering selling my souncard and need to decide if i take my time buying a new on or not. i prefer to take my time. i would use the h6 in the meantime in recording and playback. do u know anything about the zooms preamps and compressors? how they stack up against soundcards built just for computers on usb? either by experience or research... i mostly record vocals in my home studio that i like to use for my professional releases, so i need to keep an eye on recording quality. thanks.

    hi chetmortsen92, thanks for uploading this video, good to know your tips, question here, if i am recording using audio interface from live instruments, can we plug direct straight to the Zoom H6 the 1/4 phone jacks of bass guitar and lead guitar? or those leads in your video are the "line out" leads from individual PA of your instrument.

      You can plug instruments directly to the H6 recording track up to 4 onboard 1/4" instrument inputs. The H6 has a 1/8" phono line out.

    Is their any live tracking latency?

    • @chetmortenson92
      @chetmortenson92  6 років тому +4

      FiYaDivine Latency will depend on your computer's processor. Higher Ghz processing power will result in a lower latency. Also depends on the buffer setting in preferences, and whether you use software monitoring, amount of effects, etc. When I use it as live multitrack with my setup it has no noticeable latency.

    I mean the video is very informative but the sound quality is abysmal. Why, with all these mics, I just don't get it 😅
