The UA-cam algorithm randomly dropped this album in my lap. As a musician who has been struggling to feel in touch with my emotions the same way since my saxophone was destroyed last year the day after my birthday, I want you to know that your album helped me a ton just now. Chrysalism made me remember playing my gameboy games as a kid and going to a rent a center in Florida that had a sonic heroes demo connected to the Home Entertainment System on display. The day was humid but it was nice and cool inside with sunlight streaming through impossibly high windows for a 10 year old. I cried a lot just now and I'm so grateful for it. My connection to my music has been the place that keeps my inner child alive and vice versa. I've felt so disconnected over the past year and just....empty. While listening, I felt a gut wrenching sadness that I can't go back to those days when I would play games on my Playstation over and over just to rock out to the soundtracks one more time. I'm just some 29 yo dude who fixes computers and used to tour in a band but for 4 minutes and 52 seconds I was 10 again. Thank you for that. Edit: Also, if it wasn't clear already, you've got a new lifetime fan.
I'm really glad you found some form of connection with my work. While I may not really know how to these days, helping others is something that's always been important to me, and it means a lot that my music was able to give some form of reprieve, back to a time in the past. Do know, though, that there is still childlike joy to be had in the little things, no matter how old you are. It may be harder to find at times, but it's important to let yourself feel anticipation and excitement over that new thing you're getting/doing, whatever it may be. Let yourself have fun. Balance on the curb of the sidewalk, jump in puddles, jump onto and off of a nearby rock when you're on a walk. It means a lot to hear I have a lifelong fan. Again, I'm really glad you found some deeper connection with my music, and thank you for letting me know

@@CaramelTreat Yeah, it gives me that feeling when you've found a new area in a game, the sort of realization something's much vaster and more varied than you'd expected. Well done!
some of these tracks remind me of Celeste, One Shot, and Pocket Mirror and gives the overall vibe of an indie game. I will (and have) listen to this multiple times/on loop.
Wow, I'm so glad UA-cam recommended this to me! Love the music, I really does capture the vibe of seeking something deeper, whether that be within a mystery or ourselves, but sometimes those too blend when viewing things through our eyes. 😄
You're speaking to my soul here. I kind of feel like I'm getting a taste into another world you keep inside your heart, whoever you are. Your art reminds me of the story I'm plotting because it feels like they both have roots in dreamy stuff like scps, horror and indie games, abstract and fantastical shows or books, liminal spaces, surreal photography. When I listen to this, I imagine a kind of desolate world, dark and silent. Maybe the place has a twisted, murky history and now there's strange things lurking around in the dark. Mysteries that bleed from under the floorboards of abandoned houses or remain hidden above the smog made by an old factory. I think there's beautiful things too. A village of kind creatures tucked away in their warmly lit cottages that they managed to keep safe at the ends of the world. There could even be two wanderers who both like to travel the ruins on their own. Though, every month they've decided to meet out in this long-untouched garden to catch up. They sit on a bench under a lone street light and share small gifts they salvaged, some cured meat from across a river they were told not to cross, a story of how one out-smarted a creature that was stalking them, every strange observation. Maybe they'll settle there together when they're older, bring the other friends they've made over the years, and start a new village... I'm losing it- Love the music
That first part is incredibly on point to a lot of my biggest influences. Obscure media, hidden gems. And your descriptions of your imagination is just beautiful. I'm really glad you've shared this with me
This is certainly an album that I'm going to be listening to over and over again. It is so relaxing and nostalgic. The closest feeling I can thinking of is the feeling I got when watching obscure videos late at night when I was younger, or exploring an old abandoned place that nobody has stepped foot in for years. And the times when you were a child and you got to watch your baby brother take his first step, or celebrated holidays with your family. I really really like the first song! It is incredibly comforting. This is an album I will treasure. Thank you for making this, and I hope you are doing well :)
I am doing alright, working through things. I'm glad you like the album, though. Your descriptions are exactly what I was going for, especially the exploring of abandoned places. I wish there was more around me that I could look into and explore, but oh well.
@@CaramelTreat There aren't any worlds I can think of that aren't feasibly boundless, digitally and physically. There are infinite places to explore, both in the present and across time. Your only obstacle is knowing how to find them.

I'm kind of bad at picking favorites but I absolutely adored Sky and That Irregular Cloudscape ^_^ and Etherness was such a good closing track I teared up just a little :') also I really appreciate the comments on each song!!! so much fun to read through
I have listened to this album in full at least 6 times over the span of the past two days. Some of the pieces, especially the openers, are perfectly atmospheric in a unique way, besides being soothing and minimal. I am aware of the narrative behind this, however it reminds me of a recent ghost story my finacé is writing. Your neocities was an interesting browse as well. That community seems to contain a wealth of individuals with interesting minds, I'd wish to integrate myself into it someday. It's a shame I haven't made a page for myself yet.
I'm glad you enjoy the album! Interesting that it reminds you of that ghost story. And neocities is super approachable, even if you don't know much about coding, so I think it's a good idea to start up a site for yourself. So long as you arent hosting big files on it, the free plan is more than enough to get something going!
@@CaramelTreatI have listened to this many more times since, and I've exhaustively listened to all of your other works multiple times over too. I would like to personally thank you again for your pieces. They still calm and centre me at times where others cannot. I always have a limit where I grow overwhelmed listening to other pieces on my headphones, now I find myself circling back to this album in times where I'd take them off completely. Nothing else has ever had the same effect on me, regardless of how calming it is designed to be. It must mean you've done something quite right, however. Are there any people you take inspiration from that you would recommend? I am struggling to find much similar to this in the genre and have no clue what it would even be named. I will be awaiting more of your productions in the future. I would've loved to support it with cash if I had my own independent source of income, however I'm currently studying at Uni under a strict budget. Since I've noticed you have a lack of donation links, would you consider setting up a Kofi at some point in the meantime? It has the lowest monetary deductions compared to other alternatives like Patreon and UA-cam donations.
@@HelloworldXY32 Thank you so much for the kind words again! It makes me really happy to see others find solace in my music, whether I expected them to or not. As far as similar sounds, I've actually also had trouble finding other artists that sound how I do. But I know for a fact that C418's work on the Minecraft soundtracks has inspired me. Another one that's more removed genre-wise, but somewhat related in terms of how it feels, would be the band glass beach's 2024 album, plastic death. They're my favorite band and have quite a few songs that inspired my sound for this project. For future works, it's unfortunately going to be a while. I've been facing art block for a few months now and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon. With financial support, the only option I have right now is purchasing the album's digital download on my Bandcamp. It's name your price, so it can be as low or as high as you wish, even free. Don't feel pressured to give me money, though. Your comments are worth a lot already and you've got important things to keep your cash for. Also I hope uni is going well for you!
@@CaramelTreat @CaramelTreat I have indeed read your blogs and website, I know you've been suffering with block and take your time to catch inspiration. It's much better and healthier for your process; I can see you're in touch with your creativity enough to know the importance of being in the right environment and passion-driven state to let a project organically develop. Take as much time as you need. A donation seems deserved and ideal here. If I wasn't tight on essentials such as food and educational resources, I would rather spend my savings on carefully picked donations rather than corporates. Small artists rely on revenue greatly, and your unique pieces are not replaceable; it creates more incentive for you to continue. It is a more significant use of my money, for both sides of the exchange.
This is actually incredible. I love the vibes of this whole album, I love the mix of slightly off-putting and serene. I also looked through your neocities and honestly? I think I need to make one of my own once I get some time. (I haven't looked at the arg yet though! I'll go do that after i finish this (: ) Also, did just want to let you know that the youtube playlist with all of the individual songs is backwards. So if you play it at the beginning it starts at number 14.
I highly recommend looking into making a neocities page! It's super easy and really fun. I'm glad you like the album though! Also, I'll check out the playlist ordering, thanks for letting me know!
Dude this is REALLY good. I hope you keep making music. this would also make a really good soundtrack for a video game. Do you let people use your music in other projects? I make a lot of animations and can think of a ton of stuff that it'd go great in. If not then that's totally fine, I just hope you keep making stuff.
Thank you so much! My musical style actually started as making the OST for a game I never finished! And yeah! Id love to see others use my music in their stuff, no need to ask (so long as you aren't outright stealing the music.) Let me know if you make anything, I'd love to see it!
@@CaramelTreat alright cool, I'll do that! thanks ^^ Do you still do any music making for games? like you said that one didn't work out but have you done OSTs for other games?
@@remdot Ive *technically* done the OST for a little game jam game, but I don't like how it turned out. I would be interested in trying out a longer term project like that though!
@@CaramelTreat aw I'd love to do a game with music from you but I'm definitely not at that level right now. when I do get to that point though I'll make sure to ask again
If you use the original songs as-is, I'd like to know and be credited, but as far as like, remixes or remakes go, it's all fair game. So yeah, you could use it in a video or game, just make sure to credit me. And if you want anything done with the songs, like making it loop seamlessly or something, I could figure that out for ya.
@@CaramelTreat Eh, right now I'm just working on a small modpack thing for my friends, and was wanting to make a trailer for the next big update for it, and since it's all about secrets and stuff I thought about using this for an animatic for a sort of trailer for them might be cool.
the songs are sickeningly lovely..is it okay to use your songs for things like animatics? with proper credit? i adore it and would love to use it for my art videos

I really love this album, awesome work m8. Any way we can get the songs as individual videos? Each has such a unique vibe, and I'd love to be able to choose the mood!
Thanks! And yeah, they're all up in a playlist, though I may make the videos themselves public so people can more easily tell they're there.
tysm for making this
Of course, I'm glad you like it

I'm writing something and this song is really good for the vibes of it, so I'm marking it.
Thank you! I really like that track for the overall feel as well :>
I DID NOT EXPECT TO HEAR DISBELIEF PAPYRUS' THEME HERE LOL
Yeahh, I accidentally wrote the same melody, then when I realized, I just decided to keep it :p
really cool stuff!! keep doin what you're doin, you're gonna make something really profound i can feel it. just follow ur heart !
Thank you so much. It's hard to make this stuff, and sometimes I think about quitting, but your and other's faith is what keeps me going a lot of the time
I just know this is one of those albums I'll be coming back to again and again when I write.. piano so good......
I'm kind of bad at picking favorites but I absolutely adored Sky and That Irregular Cloudscape ^_^ and Etherness was such a good closing track I teared up just a little :') also I really appreciate the comments on each song!!! so much fun to read through
Thank you! Sky is a piece I reaply enjoy too, and That Irregular Cloudscape is just so dreamy, it's easy on the ears :>
Awesome!
Thanks :>
🖤
wow
this is VERY pretty...
Thank you
the quiet places still exist but it ain't here cus i be blasting this shit on repeat, full volume
Real and ty :>
@@CaramelTreat Is there any other place I can contact you? I have tried commenting a message 3 times and UA-cam is refusing to post it
🤍🤍🤍 ( had this on loop all last night )
This is actually incredible. I love the vibes of this whole album, I love the mix of slightly off-putting and serene. I also looked through your neocities and honestly? I think I need to make one of my own once I get some time. (I haven't looked at the arg yet though! I'll go do that after i finish this (: )
Also, did just want to let you know that the youtube playlist with all of the individual songs is backwards. So if you play it at the beginning it starts at number 14.
I highly recommend looking into making a neocities page! It's super easy and really fun. I'm glad you like the album though! Also, I'll check out the playlist ordering, thanks for letting me know!
Definitely worth the wait 🎉
Thank you for sticking around and following my work still, it means a lot
The title is very true
They exist whether or not you know of their whereabouts.
@@CaramelTreat Every place I go ceases to be quiet upon my arrival
Yt algorithm blessed me. This is very good :)
Thank you :>
Thanks♥
Good stuff 🔥
Thanks !
This is sick :)
Thank you :3
[Sepia] reminded me a little of "Summer" by casiodad
That's exactly the reference! I love Casio Dad and glass beach so much.
@@CaramelTreat We gleaching with this one
Dude this is REALLY good. I hope you keep making music.
this would also make a really good soundtrack for a video game.
Do you let people use your music in other projects? I make a lot of animations and can think of a ton of stuff that it'd go great in. If not then that's totally fine, I just hope you keep making stuff.
Thank you so much! My musical style actually started as making the OST for a game I never finished! And yeah! Id love to see others use my music in their stuff, no need to ask (so long as you aren't outright stealing the music.) Let me know if you make anything, I'd love to see it!
@@CaramelTreat alright cool, I'll do that! thanks ^^
Do you still do any music making for games? like you said that one didn't work out but have you done OSTs for other games?
@@remdot Ive *technically* done the OST for a little game jam game, but I don't like how it turned out. I would be interested in trying out a longer term project like that though!
@@CaramelTreat aw I'd love to do a game with music from you but I'm definitely not at that level right now. when I do get to that point though I'll make sure to ask again
Expected creepypasta minecrap music discs.
Got solid ambiance with nice tunes. 👍
Ha, yeah, the album cover kinda gives off those vibes. I'm glad you like it though!
so good... and i feel like i've heard riftwalker's melody before somewhere, but i'm not sure
Don't worry about it- I definitely didn't accidentally take it from an Undertale fangame.
ta buenardo
Very nice album, will it be going up on your Bandcamp?
Oh! I totally forgot to put it there! It'll be there soon, free download and all. Ty for the reminder :>
Heya, I really like this kind of music, and was wondering what the use terms are for it? Like use in videos or possibly for a game/mod I'm working on.
@@redstonerblast8621 That does sound cool! Yeah, feel free to use my music, just credit me in the description or somewhere :>
lord help me i appear to have stumbled upon yet another internet story,,
interested to see the development of two strangers!! if youre still doing it,
Two Strangers is kind of a collection of weird ideas, so I'm glad you like it !
the songs are sickeningly lovely..is it okay to use your songs for things like animatics? with proper credit? i adore it and would love to use it for my art videos
Thank you! And of course, just credit me in the description or something and I'd love to see what you make!
Almost feels like some yume nikki soundtracks
I'm not too familiar with that game, but I've heard good things.
Where did Sky III go?
Sky III does exist, it was just cut and I decided to not renumber movement IV. Maybe the album cover has a hint as to where you can find movement III though...
Mashaallah.
I will come back to this inshaallah when i have had time to digest it musically more❤.
почему мне это знакомо ?
I'm not sure. It's all original music, but maybe it's just close enough to something you know.
