Pro tip, 2 oz is just a suggestion. I like to put a bit more rye to start off then build on that with the other mash bills. This way I can show off with a conversation “infinity” old fashioned for the ones that enjoy it outside of a Glen-cairn glass.
Another guy just tipped out a whiskey he didn't like and then used that bottle as his infinity bottle. I think I would just use a bottle that I just finished and then use that one.
Yes, I like infinity bottles, but I only make bottles based on type of whiskey spirit. I am only placing scotch with scotch, bourbon with bourbon, and so forth, the chance of mixing more diverse whiskeys increases the chance that you may think the eventual result tastes so bad you might just throw the whole bottle content away and start over. My best recommendation is infinity bottles based on only the same brand such as only Wild Turkey in one bottle, only Four Roses in another, only Old Forester in another. The results are impressive, because you will get a bottle that definitely tastes better than the cheapest version of the brand with a higher proof, and with stronger tasting notes.
A glass decanter will not seal properly, the spirit will evaporate faster. Therefore a glass cork decanter is not good for storing, but just to keep a cheap spirit which will be left on the table to be finished off asap.
@@gentslounge yeah some people save the very ends of their joints and put them in a jar. Then when either they’re out of weed or the jar is full they’ll roll the mix into a joint/blunt with all the different strains. Kinda harsh because the roaches are all resiny and burnt but still a fun idea haha
Pro tip: Keep it to one type of Spirit.
That’s no fun 😒
Just started mine 2 months ago...I put some Jack old 7, Jim devils cut and Johnnie red label and it tastes good
There's an infinity bottle app now. You can keep track of everything in detail
My college one would've just been fireball and old crow with a hint of makers lol
😅😅

Ive had 1 for well over a year that’s a little of everything I get and just started a second one but it’s all high proof.

Hey thanks for the suggestion
Cool, never thought about that.
Love adding to my Infinity and tasting my creation! We have a document that we update as we create and recreate our Infinity! 🥃🥃 Cheers and Enjoy!

Why not use a old bottle with a cork and take the label off?
@@HunnyBiscuit that's a better idea
Haven't started one yet 🤔
Or recycle a nice bottle for free. I just learned of this myself and am curious as to how my house blend/s is gonna taste
I’ve found ryes and smokey scotches to be very overpowering
Wow that's actually really cool lmao
Ah like a generation joint made up of old roaches. Interesting.
Is that a real thing??

😂😂😂
😮
sounds like a great way to ruin a bunch of low bottles
You realize all bourbons have the same ingredients in different ratios right?
$25 decanter = lead poisoning
Just make sure it says lead free
@@gentsloungeJust because it says lead free doesn't mean it's lead free.

You sure?
