When people speak their original language, it changes everything. David you have smashed the psychological boundary that limits abantu. Keep it up and let abantu speak ulwimi lwabo kuhle kakhulu. Azishe!!!
Tribal chauvanism is a real thing...unfortunately VaTsonga and VhaVenda are still experiencing this 30 years into democracy. Thanks to shows lile Giyani land of blood and Muvhango for giving the marginalised people and languages a bit of chance...minorities like AmaNdebele,Vhavenda, Vatsonga and AmaSwati have a mountain to climb in their own country for language recognition.

Thank you Ntate Mashabela for getting us the iconic actor from IKhansela Music video acting as uMajazi, he played an annoying character on The Place Called home. Not forgetting the indelible character on Ga Re Dumele the one and only Tsutsuma. I believe Tsutsuma character gave birth to Ringo on Diep City.
The most transformative podcast in the land…..thank you King and the team for the incredible work that informs us and helps us to navigate the contemporary world.
Bra Dave can you please get us Jack Mabaso...... Please 😊 Would love to get the story behind his character in Generations coz it really follows him anywhere else he airs
Hehe my uncle is one of the funniest guy in our family. They used to go to the same school in zone2 with ntate Obed and always talked about how they were the class clowns. Obed and Oupa.

Kgosi King David, today is the first time I caught you live and befitting it is with 1 of the best actors this country has produced, with the lens in which I'm viewing, ke wena SENGANGA in giving flowers and giving credit while they're alive
I thoroughly enjoyed this one because Ntate Obed is such a great actor and I am so happy to be afforded the opportunity to learn about his life ❤ King David you're doing the most 🎉🎉🎉
I have been following King Davids podcast for a while now, all the people who are free in speaking their home languages have killed their sessions because nothing beats being original. Obed is a very nice guy. I hope God blesses more and more. He still has a lot to offer
I remember that role on mamas love, he came in a tarven rough and Kawu stood up took out a gun on him, and his line was "Sorry Bra Kawu, Sorry Bra Kawu". 🤣🤣 I never forgot that 🤞🏿
Well, this interview has been an absolute gem! I mean, I couldn't stop laughing from start to finish. Truly incredible stuff! And let's talk about Bra Obed - this guy is the definition of a legend! Hats off to him for bringing all this awesomeness to the show! 🎉😄
I think King David must get a director a writer or producer to get why they overwork the actors maybe we might understand their perspective as far as the subject is concerned.
I remember the Old man once perfomed the Ga Mshangaan in Primary School (Dumezweni Lower Primary School in Diepkloof 1997 or 1998) and I grew up knowing the guy as Ga Mshangaan. Legendary
Dayza, what an infectious podcast. Thank you for having this man over. I never knew much if anything about him. Turns out I could relate to many things about him, having grown up Shangaan in Alexandra and gone to a boarding school in Gazankulu, including one of his alma mater, Bankuna. Thoroughly enjoyed the natural flow of the conversation, in a township manner of people my generation as a 70s person. More importantly in vernac, which liberates us. The schools he went to, Shingwedzi, Mahwahwa and of course Bankuna, wow, that brought memories of a childhood shaped for 5 years of a man I have become. Thank you to Khalanga for carrying the flag for us Vatsonga and for being true to his identity as a Mutsonga. Thanks Dayza for 2 hours plus of an authentic conversation. Trust me, you have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work boss, in the style you are using. First time watching this from start to finish, largely because the guy spoke my my language. So enjoyed your interviewing style and the research that went into it, learned so much about the guy. Great stuff!
