Reenacting While On Adderall

I was recently put on Adderall for both my ADHD and because I haven't been able to stay awake no matter how much sleep I get. So come with me as we put it to the test while I reenact as an 1840s camp cook. Lots of work for someone who has such a low energy envelope. Will Adderall help?

Thank you so much for your concern, I really do appreciate it. As for my crashes, I’ve been having those since 2016 because of post exertional malaise brought on by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. I have only been taking Adderall for a month. Thank you though, your concern is appreciated.

@@MandasMusings Do you understand that Adderall and crystal meth are basically the same thing? Do you understand people crash from Adderall? Do you understand many people are thankful they overcome their adderall addiction?

I do know that Adderall and meth are very similar. I am following my doctor’s advice and I do not abuse my medications. Again, thank you for your concern.

At least your coordination with that game is better than mine ever is with anything! I used to do a lot of 1940s events across the UK, but my migraines eventually forced me to stop. There was the inevitable crash after each weekend I did one & it ate into my holiday allowance at work. Hope you and the medication eventually get on with each other. It was nice to have a few hours of clarity. I tried to play with some kids later in the day and I definitely was not coordinated. (But at least it made the kids feel better about being beginners so I’m not complaining). There was quite a crash when I got home but I’m happy that everything worked out for the most part.

I take modafanil. It is in the Adderall family. I do like it. it helps a lot. My husband is very outdoorsy so I will remember to use Adderall when we are camping because you get even worse sleep when you're camping. So definitely going to try that. Don't know why I didn't already think about that
