Wow, so true. I was a teenager in the eighties and college age in the early nineties. I thought I missed out on everything (still do) until I realized, through the internet, how many young people love everything about the eighties and nineties. It's amazing. Omg when he starts shaking and sniffing at that part in the movie. I was trying to remember so hard where this scene was from 🤣🤣🤣 I kept thinking cable guy because American woman played during the party scene but the main song for that scene was white rabbit...this has been driving me crazy for months 🤣 I had magic carpet ride in my head sooo hard and I kept remembering the actor was shaking at that part of the song but damnit I couldn't remember it was this 🤣
What a weird moment in time for me. I fell really hard for the first love of my life in the 90s. Moved a thousand miles so we could be together after she moved with her family. I was heartbroken when she decided it was not working. I moved back home. A couple of years later, this came out in theaters. She is a very prominent extra in this scene. It was startling seeing her on the big screen. My heart just kept hurting. Silly young love. She is married with children. I am married with children. We are friends on social media and I am glad she was a part of my life. I am happy for her and her family. But man, it was really odd seeing that face in the movies when I just wanted to enjoy a comedy.
Everything about this scene is perfect. The music, the colors, the women, the dancing. Just perfect.
100% agree

Came here to write just that and more. Totally agree. The editing throughout this whole film is Aweosme hey!!
I wonder if that’s truly what the 60s were like at a club, in terms of environment.
