Enjoying your videos from here in Somerset UK. Please give us the date you are filming in your commentary. It will give us the context. Don’t care how much delay there is in editing it will always be interesting!
Nice update, yeah that wind can be something that's for sure, I see them cows staying on the lee side of those calf shelters. The calves look snug as a bug in the straw I always liked those types of shelters, you just hook on to them and move them where ever you need to. My daughter keeps a close eye on the newborns also sometimes they'll stretch out in the sun for hours, she calls them roadkill. Stay safe and take care
Those clouds and that sky, gracious! I was too tiny to have any memories from when we lived where it snowed, but my mother would describe those clouds. We've got the big blue-black thunderheads here but those snow clouds are almost more frightening!
Good update Bryan! Glad your calves are doing well. Beautiful, brutal weather, great pictures. I know you've spent time in Alaska, I've also spent time south of Nome along the western delta. Watching your wind reminded me of that wind and cold!! Keep up the good work! Great video!
Awesome video you have got way more snow than where I live in Utah I hope all is well I really enjoy all your videos and your Winters are brutal looking forward to seeing more take care God bless
Thank you! I’m glad to hear you enjoy our videos so much! It give me the ambition to keep making them. We definitely have some long winter around here it makes you appreciate summer that much more I guess haha. Take care!
Idea for video 😂 Make a couple holsters to hold a bottle on each side of your hip😂😂 Or convert a nail belt. Get to the calf and turn the bottle upside down put in holster and relax 😂 Those calf shelters are worth a million buck. Doing their job keeping calfs out of the 💩y weather.
I’m glad to hear you are enjoying our videos! Winters are pretty long around here. It’s pretty common for us to have snow on the ground from November to April.
It is about time to be done with snow storms Love the water hate the snow Good luck with the calves Don't post any videos about branding calves. I did and UA-cam just about shut my channel completely down
We have metal feeders also but I feel like they waste a lot more eating out of the feeders than when I spread it out on the ground. I feed everyday the exact amount that the cows need for that day so they clean everything up by the next day. I know sometimes it looks wasteful but I think you have alot less hay loss doing it that way

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll try and remember to do that next time. Looking back this video was filmed the 1st week of March.
Blessings Brother,

Haha roadkill I like that. Those shelters have been invaluable. I love that you can move them around also like you said.

They are pretty to look at! I don’t always appreciate the wind and snow they bring sometimes though.

I didn’t know you spent time in Alaska. I never made it up to Nome but I’m sure the winters were brutal there.

Haha it would be nice having a bottle holder like that. Those calf shelters have been invaluable!
Your Day in the life video was interesting to me. Took me away from my life here. You did good, and you are a good and honorable man
Thank you, that’s a kind comment! I try to do my best. Hope everything is going well for you over there.
This video made me want to add another blanket tonight 😅

Thanks Wayne! How are things shaping up down there?
You need one of those BIG CALF barns to put pg cows in near giving birth!!!
I’ve got something in mind to try different next year.
I’m really enjoying your videos. I from Texas so does winter ever stop up there?
