IF it can work for Hyundai/Kia it could work for Honda/Nissa/Mistubishi? There's no guarantee but if it's planned properly and the 3 remain independent PARTNERS then it should work.
These mergers don't work out too well usually - too many cooks in the kitchen. Isn't Nissan still tangled up with Renault? Honda should buy Nissan and take the whole thing over and run it right. I had Frontier pickup trucks, Accords, Ridgeline, and now I've switched to Toyota. My Frontiers were my favorite vehicles of all time though. They need a small, efficient Frontier to go alongside the current tank with the monster engine in it.
It won't be a merger it will be an alliance like the one that Nissan had with Renault. Both companies will function independently but will share more parts and development costs.
I don't think Nissan wants to make an engine with less than six cylinders and Honda doesn't really want to make an engine with more than four cylinders even though they make a six cylinder. They might collaborate on six cylinders and at some they might make a four cylinder sports car or bring back the s2000
Dual-use platform for a new Z-car and S2x00? The current Z is still on a 2009 platform, so that could use an update to LOSE WEIGHT and Honda would want a shared platform before issuing a new sports car.
Honda makes one of the very best 6 cylinder engines on the market (3.5 liters). What inside source or information do you have that they don’t want to make 6 cylinder engines??
@@trumpisastump9382 the k series Honda engine is famous and they make multiple versions. I'm not saying they don't make six cylinder engines but it seems like they spend more time on four cylinders
This, I believe, will keep the Titan in Nissan's lineup. Honda could sell their own version of it. A future Xterra would be great for Nissan and for people wanting a rugged body on frame SUV. Honda already? has the new Passport.

Why Nissan failed:
1) UGLY designs
2) CVT transmissions
😃 I love the way you described the name "Acura GDX"!

I'll be hoping for anything Honda and RWD and a better Nissan dealer network.

Obligatory comment for the Al-Gore-Rhythm.
Stay classy my friend.
Maybe we will see a new full size pickup and we keep hearing about xterra, hopefully we get that and a honda clone.
