Used these for a couple snowmobile trips in January and February of 2022. The communicators were a game changer. No more stopping, getting off your sled to walk over and chat with the others in the group whenever we needed to make a decision on a direction or something. We just made decisions on the fly without stopping. Range is decent but if you get ahead of others more than 1/8 mile they do disconnect. If you are in a tighter group though, they're awesome to have. Make sure the inside of your Helmet has the area for the speaker notched out underneath the liner or you will have trouble mounting it. I own 5 bikes, and 14 helmets, 6 helmets with communicators. I bought my 2 oldest kids the FX6 so I can chat with them while they’re learning to ride. I was impressed by the Fodsport communicators, I bought 2 more for myself. With this video I connected all 4 and went for a ride with my kids last night. All 4 of us could easily talk and the quality is just as good as my Scalarider setup but half the cost. The range is decent, haven’t tried excessive range but at about 1/8 mile back, they could still hear me clearly. I feel like anything more than that, you’re really not in a “group ride” anymore anyway 😄

Once you paired 4 intercoms sucessfully, they will connect with each other next time when you turn on.

Hi. I need to find an intercom for my brother. fodsports seems cheap. I look the BT-S3 or the FX6. BT-S3 has better range (700-1000m). FX6 only 200-300m. But if FX6 can connect with group of other company like cardo or senna it would be better option than big range. Can FX6 talks with group of other company ? Thanks.

FX6 using Bluetooth 5.0, is more stable and faster when connected with others. If someone is out of range, he will be re-connected easily when he is back.

The 800m is total range, but one to one intercom range is about 200 to 300 meters. In addition, many other things may affect the intercom range, like buildings.
