I would not advise or recommend cross brand pairing, the connection is unstable at a just few feet apart. When riding in a group it’s best for everyone to have the same brand headsets, preferably the same model headsets.

Thank you Chris! Great explanation. I have the dual 50s set with harmon kardon sound for my husband and I. Have had it in bluetooth mode up till now. I set up the mesh mode , tested it in the house and it sounds much louder. YES! One problem I had in bluetooth mode, was after about 20 min of riding, the volume would drop to a level one on my helmet. My husband could hear me just fine, but I could barely hear him. Very odd! I don't know if it has anything to do with my BMW R1250R TFT screen and the set up with Sena on the TFT?? I'm hoping the mesh system will solve this problem of sudden volume loss in my helmet. If you have any ideas, much appreciated. New Sub 😎

It’s very simple, and if a Goldwing owner has the older Goldwing with a 5 pin din cable and plug in the Sena Free Wire, then pair it to the Sena 50s, that will give the Goldwing rider wireless infotainment and wireless CB radio communication. The Sena Freewire will only work with certain compatible Sena headsets like the Sena 50s

Hi Chris, You mentioned connecting two 50S via bluetooth as an option other than mesh, but I didn't catch that on this video. Would you please provide that? This video cleared up so much for me. Sena videos and other content producers did a good job confusing me. Finally, of all the Sena aps, can you steer us to the best for a 50S 2022 model? My wife and I ride two up, so all of the connections to multiple riders is out of our normal riding routine. Perhaps we need more riding friends...............

Best demo video for pairing the Sena 50S I have seen. Just received our Sena 50S and my problem is as the passenger I like to listen to the radio but the volume of the radio starts out ok but once we start riding the volume decreases as if someone is talking even when not. I’m sure it’s a setting problem. Do you have any suggestions of what the correct settings need to be? I didn’t have this problem when we were hard wired to the Harley Trike. Chris - thanks for the presentation. I have two Sena headsets -both are set to the same channel, but one of them does not pick up any communication from the other. When I speak through the voice piece of the blue helmet, the speakers on the black helmet pick up the transmission, but not the other way around. Any suggestions for fixing this problem would be welcomed. Thanks.

I know the 50S has 12hr mesh talk time.. how log does the battery actually last if you're listening to music and in a mesh-connected environment? Do you actually get 12hrs or is it noticeably less? Probably your mic pic up some noise and lower the volume.

Between Cardo & Sena the Sena 50s sounds better to me.

According to what he explained, the amount of riders on open mesh is unlimited. It is limited to 24 riders on a mesh private group.
I have 4 20s evos can all 4 be brought into the mesh group? 20s are none mesh
