Lots of negative comments on this video, but it's been nothing but clear and helpful for me! Thanks for making this step by step. I'm prepping for a camp by myself with a toddler running, and I feel confident I can pull this whole thing together solo no problem. Getting the rainfly on is definitely easier if you're taller, but it's do-able.
Thank you very much for your step-by-step on how to set this thing up! I am visually impaired and it is a impressively amazing how many people forget that there are people like me who are active in the camping and hiking community! So what you just did really gave me an excellent audio visual if that makes any sense! Really liked the video and thank you so much
Okay. That took me about thirty minutes and I found putting poles into pins on bottom of tent extremely difficult. Also struggled a but with rainfly. Love the headroom. Hope it gets easier to set up. If it doesn't I will regret purchase. Fingers crossed
This video is so helpful... I cant find my specific tent but I feel this helped me because the tent is so similar ... my tent now has an instant option so all I see are those
Not too hard to set up and/or figure out. Had biggest challenge with the fly. I suggest do a trial set up in your yard. If you are short (I'm 5'5") you might need a small stool to get the fly in place; or a second set of hands. If it's windy, you'll definitely need a helper no matter what your height. Happy camping!
Simple to setup. But right out of the box it took a lot of "persuasion" to get all 4 corners together. By seeing the video and that you have to actually bend the roof it makes it easier. The fabric is extremely tight, I'm always concerned about ripping tent fabric. Hopefully setting it up once in my yard will stretch out all the corners to make it easier on site. Do the seams need to be waterproofed before using? Thank you
What if i loose the angled corners, telescopic poles and the rods of this tent. Where Can i get them again from. As my tent is intact but i lost the spares. Need the spares urgently.
I bought it set it up saw that they had eliminated the window zippers and took it back bought a field and stream instead for $300 they would have window zippers
Also - A tip for short people. There is no way I could throw the fly over that thing. But I used an extension pole like one we use for painting to get the fly over. I am worried about leaking in the rain through the windows. Next time I set it up, I might drape the fly lyover before I insert the legs and see if that works better.
@corinadragonfly1 I have this same tent, albeit about 7 -8 years old now. We were in very heavy rain and never got wet. But I think we have zippers on our tent windows. We've been using a pop up for the past several years. The newer design tent may be different as far as the windows.

Bless you for being handier than average.

you could drape the fly over before putting up the side poles

Just set mine up for the second time. Noticed little loop’s inside along the wall seems. Also in the floor corners.
What are they for??

DO YOU HAVE THE SAME CLIPS ON THE 4 PERSON TENT POLES, ARE THE PARTS THE SAME?
i am unable to insert the 4th pole into the clip for the roof
You have to force it.
NEED MUCH SLOWER AND CLOSE UP IMAGES FOR THE FLY SET UP.
You make the fly easy to place with one person. Not realistic at all.
i was going to buy it but i noticed windows are not zippered up. that system will not keep rain out , what a waste of product

That's not true. The design will not allow water to get in.
