ScottyManYeah - if you did a little bit more research you would have found out that the reasons Ireland voted No the first time were for things that weren't even true of the Treaty in the first place. The EU addressed those issues and asked us if after addressing the issues we raised the first time we were happy to accept it. And we answered Yes. So it was in fact completely democratic, and very fair and logical to boot.
