The Axe During Down-B is legitimately considered the character model due to a hitbox bug. It's specifically for Down-B.
I cannot believe I made it into a video. I was the Ike at 2:30 with my girlfriend. I should have known it was you when you guys kept throwing me on my last stock trying to style. This is amazing. The drop through the platform absolutely caught me off guard as well.

@@quagsirefan8946 Byleth arrow isn't that much faster. give Byleth a few more days and people are going to know how to avoid it consistently just like the Bowser jr. cannon and start using it like the cannon: just to snipe people off stage and force them to jump into another attack

Also my friend and I made a challenge that we call the Hero's Relic Challenge. How it works is that each stock you can only use one of the Heros relics per stock. The order would be for each stock would be: stock 1 axe, stock 2 bow, stock 3 spear. If you see this have fun! :)

Imagine a character dividing the community purely because people found them underwhelming and then those same people have to learn the hard way how painfully broken that character is.
Edit : aight, so it turns out I was a bit off the mark in calling Byleth "broken". Apparently they're only good in doubles, pretty unviable competitively, and the terrifying combo on DK was untrue and only works on DK.
As a person that isn't familiar with competitive Smash and only used this video as a reference, it makes sense that my conclusion ended up being unreliable. Sorry the misinformation, and thank you all for correcting me. Except you Vegeta Man, sarcastic prick.
eh byleth I can really only see competitive use in doubles. Really isn't that great otherwise.

byleth is so far from broken. the character is extremely sluggish and probably won't see much use in competitive outside of doubles. they're pretty fun for dittos and ffa though
I wouldn’t say he’s broken. He seems to be more a defensive type character with his long ranged moves which isn’t really good for ultimate’s engine. Although, he would probably win the matchup against DK. Since all it takes is an up B connection. That combo only works on DK.
