Didn't appreciate fast forwarding over the #2 intake adjustment at 9:38 that was tight to begin with. Then during the fast forward, there appeared to be a lot of apparent fumbling around which could have been informative for those (us) learning about the valve lash adjustment. However, looks straight forward so will keep this video bookmarked when I do the valve lash adjustment on my JD 455.
Do you know on the 430 inside the flywheel housing plug you remove what marks are in there? My 430 book isn't as detailed as your book. My book shows 2 marks. Number 1 for the first 4 valves and another one for the remaining 2. Thanks.
For a 332 the process is exactly the same with the same 0.008 spec according to the book I have. I do not have the valve spec listed on a 322 since the books I have cover diesels only. I will see if it is in another set of technical manuals.

I do not know the marks off the top of my head and I have not had a 430 in a few years. Maybe someone else will chime in on the timing marks.
I like to count how many times you “smack” your lips during a video.
What's my record?
mmrbeef about (6) times per minute, but we love your videos.
Would this also work for the Yanmar in a 332?
Yes, I will have to look up the valve clearance if I can remember.
Would you mind looking up the one for the 322

See what you can find out for me I would greatly appreciate it the Ole 322 has been a little hard starting lately
