Such an effective technique! A swirl with no need for any tools - one less thing to keep track of and wash up! I know what you mean about not getting a design reveal when cutting this kind of soap, almost feels like a missed step. But hooray for a simple technique. I mostly make soap for my own pleasure, to give as gifts and when people have asked me to make them for special occasions. I hate it when people say, "Oh it is too pretty to use." We see you. Orange mica in orange ring jug, green mica in green ring jug. Orange and green spatula too, but in opposition to mica colour so it’s not deceptive on the eye. Yes, aesthetic matters… we see you see but don’t say. It’s glorious to spot! Talking of spotting things was that a pour error I spotted at 7:07 ? Looks like you nearly repeated it too… it’s ok it really doesn’t show in the lovely end result. (It could have been intentional… so wanted to ask.) Talking of end result, your concern about the end result being dull when cutting a slab (with the design not being hidden). I confess I thought the finished slab looked ok, but it wasn’t until it was subdivided you can see a unified pattern…. It allows a better focus. Oh, and while talking of focus… enjoy that exhibition/show… I hope it goes well. (Please remove those bars of soaps from coming out your ears… they’ll be way easier to sell that way.)

Very interesting technique! I would have to change my recipe i think because mine never stays that fluid for that long. I use a lot on cocoa butter.
