My fav quote is “just wear the damn sunscreen” 😂 as a retired licensed Esthetician with 40+ yrs experience Omg I’ve said this a million times 😂😂she needs to put that on a t shirt lol
Vanicream’s vitamin c serum ❤ I’m loving that you started with this one! And under $20! As a (retired) Licensed Esthetician with 40+ yrs experience, it’s been my go to Vit C serum since… forever! Thanks Dr Idriss! You’re the Best!
Being in my late twenties, I wanted to start using products for anti-aging into my skincare routine. That's when I discovered littlextera rice berry Vitamin C face serum. I've been using it for about 3 months now, and the results have exceeded my expectations. The serum has a gel-like consistency, lightweight that applies smoothly onto my skin and hydrates immediately. What I love most is its ability to plump up fine lines and boost skin's elasticity overall. I've noticed diminished appearance in the appearance of fine lines, and my skin feels firmer and more youthful. I use it in the morning and at night, and it combines perfectly under my moisturizer and sunscreen. The serum has a subtle, pleasant scent and doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts. I would recommend it to anyone looking to tackle early signs of aging.
This riceberry serum contains the real goodness of Vitamin C. It easily gets absorbed by the skin and is completely non-greasy. My skin feels refreshed after applying this serum. I apply it twice a day for that additional radiance and freshness.
The absolute best Vitamin C is the "Melano CC" serum. I've watched sun spots vanish by using it. Also the aluminum packaging and the pin drop seal keeps it from oxidizing.
I have seen significant changes in dark spots and overall skin to a large extent. Using littlleexttra rice berry vitamin c serum has completely changed my skin care regimen. It offered my skin a silky, glowing appearance in a short time. The serum is an excellent choice as a result of to its lasting, benefits, quick absorption, and gentle aroma. it can be a little sticky but settles down rapidly once absorbed. I highly recommend this serum.
I've been using Vit C for almost 20 years now and the one that I started using that truly made me notice a difference in how glowy and bright my skin suddenly looked was the Naturium serum. I also love their Vitamin K serum, but I think those are the only two I'll be repurchasing
I LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERYTHING VANICREAM!!! 😍😍😍 For anyone who doesn't know, it was actually created at a Mayo clinic in Minnesota and all of the products are AMAZING for sensitive skin!!! If you have eczema or psoriasis, their lotions are AMAZING and better than Eurcerin! Walmarts typically carry it in the pharmacy area located behind the pharmacy counter. I hope this helps someone! ❤
I really do love vitamin C. I don't have sensitive skin. I'm currently loving the No.7 vitamin C and the Sunday Riley CEO glow ( got it for 20$ on an Ulta sale). I use one in the morning and the other in the evening. It's a nice balance.
I'm telling y'all, Sesderma's C-Vit Liposomal serum is a great way to start on vitamin C. It isn't L-ascorbic acid, rather 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid, somos gentler but way more stable, it isn't irritating at all (I just started on it without a single issue) and it makes skin tone even af.
It not for sensitive skin. It has an active form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid vs THD) which can be too irritating for sensitive skin. Eta: I misread your comment backwards. Sorry.😊
@@Bujji0423 I’ve never bought cerave through Amazon but good to know it’s much cheaper if you do. I’ve always gotten it at Walmart or a drug store and it looks like it’s marked up quite a bit.
No never use vitamin c and retinol together I learned the hard way before I did my research!!! It ruined my skin I broke out like a Pepperoni pizza. It left scars bad . I've been using Neutrogena retinol and vichy vitamin c on separate days and my acne scars have faded a lot already in 3 months @@JM-tk3uu
Coming to sing the praises of Vanicream Vitamin C. I was so used to stinging vitamin C serums but with this one no stinging at all. It is sooo good and reasonably priced too.
@@proudmuslima2879 Hi. I’m 67 with extremely sensitive skin, multiple allergies, and dry skin that’s prone to dehydration. I also have multiple autoimmune issues. I use 1 pump 3 times a week in the morning after my other serums (which I am currently changing). I do my own version of Dr. Sam Bunting’s 13 dot technique to get it evenly spread out across my face. (My face is oblong. So, I put one of the cheek dots on my jawline below my cheeks, one dot on my upper lip, and one dot on my nose. The rest go where she describes.) Every time I try to increase the frequency or dose, my skin complains. It works for me. I wish I could switch to the Timeless 10% serum with l-ascorbic acid, but my skin just doesn’t do well with it.
I like this one. I order it on amazon because i cannot find it in the stores. I have normal to oil skin but tend to be allergic to all sorts of stuff. In the am i use nasturiums azaleic acid and then follow up with this and i dont even need a moisturizer. I follow up with a non moisturizing spf.
What about the Bliss Vitamin C TRIPEPTIDE ✨️? I love multi-tasking products, and this one is also super lightweight! Perfect for under SPF! 😍 Dr Idress, I always love to hear your opinion! Do tell! 💖
I know skinceuticals vitamin c serum is expensive. $182. Ouch! But I swear I think it’s the best. I always have people asking me what I use. I’ve been using for many years. It does last a long time. What do you think? Is it the best?
My question isn’t about the topic you are covering but about filler. You mentioned you get filler conservatively which is what I plan to do but I keep seeing videos on the subject and how it can actually make you look aged. I have only got it twice and each time I get a lot of compliments on it.
I know she doesn't want to look icky, but I have super sensitive skin and I've tried lots that are touted as "vitamin C for sensitive skin". Her vitamin c moisturizer from her brand is truly amazing.
I get red bumps, itching skin and rashes everywhere..while showering! Even if i don't use any products. I am looking for a dermatologists who can tell me what this is all about. No products helped me so far. Only some zink crèmes who don't take away the redness and bumps but it does help with the itching.
I use sulfar cleanser and sometimes salicylic acid cleanser, tretinoine cream and 10% glycolic acid serum 😅 I don’t know if my skin can handle more 🤔 I also have tanned skin tone and I don’t want to look lighter should I add vitamin C to my routine?
Together at the same time no since benzoyl peroxide oxidizes vitamin c and makes it less effective. If you need to you can use it at different times of the day or alternating days,, like vitamin c in the morning and benzoyl peroxide at night and you should be fine.
@@leejeanne487 I see thank you very much for the help! I usually use benzoyl peroxide in the morning as I use Differin at night but alternating between benzoyl peroxide and vitamin c in the mornings sounds good
I wish my local Walmart carried that one. I'd like it for my chest, face and neck for night time with my retinol or glycolic acid. I have Cerave active vitamin c for daytime. I have the patience of a gnat. I want my stuff now!
I'll have to see if there's a Walgreens in Rice Lake. It's the closest bigger town by Ladysmith in northwest Wisconsin. Too cold to do anything right now. Thanks!

I’ve used that vitamin C since it was first released and it works very well on my sensitive, even where I have rosacea, with no irritation at all.
I have sensitive skin and this broke me out. Cervae Vitamin c serum has been amazing. Really brightens my skin and feels so soothing
May i ask what your skin type is?

It not for sensitive skin. It has an active form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid vs THD) which can be too irritating for sensitive skin.
