Ok, this is the fourth video I've watched on repairing LED light bulbs. I have one sitting on my Electronics Laboratory Bench. It's been flickering and I want to try to fix it. Thanks for the video ☺️
This bulb has been shown a lot of love! Repaired many times! Very cool. Thank you for the great video, I feel I can do this.
Good stratforward video. Appreciable.
parabéns amigo ai vc ta fazedo o trabalho serto eu acredito no seu trabalho
Thanks for this great explanation. Could you please write what materials, tools used for this repair work?
Guys / ladies, These LED components are various on voltage and current. If you replace it with wrong (smaller) then you will have it short life. So it is not that easy to replace it with any chip. They have to be matched.
C'mon, even you mess up with the wrong chips, have some fun. You can even short them out ! Work for few weeks, try it again. :)
Is there a way to check what voltage led to buy ?
If you already have a bad bulb of the same brand and power, and the led layout is the same, then you can quite confidently replace an led with one from the same location in the old bulb
@@cameltoehunterabsolutely you can check them by starting from smaller d c voltage from 3 to 12 voltage
@@hobbyelectronics3448 thanks , that’s the answer I was looking for

Un excelente video 👌 muchas felicidades 👌
may natutunan ako,, maraming salamat sa kaalaman😁
Great work very neat. Clean video no loud music or shaky hands. Why has your channel few videos please make more on repairs and also power tools
Your method is also very good, but it is a bit complicated for many people. I have a much simpler way, the tools are also rudimentary but maximum effective.
Where is yours, pls? I searched your channel but zero find.
Great work and with quality.
Excellent repair for the LED lamp. Thanks for sharing your UA-cam channel. I subscribed your UA-cam channel to support your videos. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦

using a soldering iron on the other side of the plate to de-solder the chip LED look neat... may I know the type of soldering tip you are using?
Thank u for info..very impormative
Amazing tutorial n nice video
Brilliant job keep going
thanks
Neat stuff. Bravo!
Creative video, thanks for sharing :)
dear sir thanks a lot helping us....with love amd.
Very well explained tutorial. Thank you!
Where do you get the replacement LEDs?
I need help:
I can find out the led voltage using power supply. But don't know the current requirements (bought smd leds of 3v 6v 9v and .5w, 1w).
In a series led with 7 chips of 3v LEDs, if one of them gets faulty, can I just replace the faulty one with a 9v/6v led chip?
I want to repair a couple of b22 led bulbs.
Very nice video bro thanks 👌👌👍🔥👌
Great work!
thanks
Only a good idea for you !
You can convert a iron plate for this work and it's easier to do !
Great, William. Thanks
Just what I was looking for. Nicely put together. Thank you.
Need help for a personal and very little project. Want to make back illumination (12V) of a clock, similar to a watch, with one (or two) COB light because there's virtually no space there. Do you know where can I get this help ? Thanks.
Great work broo
Great job! Greetings!

You are good thanks friend
Nice work

Nice job
Thank you for your presence, and may God reward you. *** It is from Egypt *** What is the value of the resistance (kam ohm) if you put the resistance in the place of the burnt LED
Can you use heatgun to put them back on?
Thank you.
what liquid or paste you spreads over the led ? please tell me.. watching from india
Does it matter if they are a little bigger in size?
Gd job brthrs
Which paste You use Soldering Please tell Name ???
Nice bro
good question, better to replace with the same size and voltage.
Really good jobs bro, what's tool iron heat to use release led?
actually, it's T12 solder station.

Watching my friend👋
Thank you
what is the stuff that they put before melting the tin?
Hi Very Nice Trick
Hi is it possible to paste bigger LED's in place of smaller?
It's better to keep the same size.
super sir
👍🏻 good
most of the chips are 3v and 6v,in this video i use four 6v chips replaced for example. If you wanna konw the voltage of chip, simple way is use two or four aa 1.5v battery to do a series connection with the chip.
nice video
Bravoooo
Nice video
Thanks for your guideline
good video
Super 💖💖💖
Please Sir why does it still burn against after successful replacement and working for some time?
I studied that two leds are connected in parallel and in series again to another parallel pieces. But replacement of leds of the same power ratings might help since they should share the same current in parallel. But if their ratings differ I think there might be unbalance in their current distribution in some of the leds there by causing still some of the leds to burn again even after replacement
for LED chip good enjoy the solder
I think one reason about burning chips after replacement is using solder more than enough. Using much solder can make gap between led chip body and board so it cant transfer its heat properly
I used silicon paste for this type of chips and it get better and smoking stoped.
Other reasons yes its about voltage , wattage and current. It should be same with other chips.
One day I opened 50w LED lamp and I counted all chips , it was 75. So 0.66 watt is per chip but we dont have 0.6 watt , we have 0.5 watt and I think it will not make problem after replacement.
These LED components are various on voltage and current. If you replace it with wrong (smaller) then you will have it short life.
@@geopeliaaow3768
But new led burnt out first . Maybe not enough solder broke it .🥴
Solder flux, amtech.
@@greatwilliam8231 thanks!
Verygood
I have a family member and her house burnet down because of a led nightlight. Ive noticed when my led bulbs go bad they start flickering and start smelling burnt. Look at his bulb it's the same thing you can see his is burnt to. Are these bulbs really safe?
good and so nice vedio Rack hussini
Nice
If you drill a few tiny holes in the light diffuser,it will help the leds cool and they will work longer.I do that on every bulb in my home.
thanks the info
Kindly tell me how
Makes sense as cooling is provided only at the back. Heat can escape better that way. Nice
How?
@@gonzalosk8ter160 how to drill holes?😂😂😂
