We gave this patio a jet wash before we took over the garden maintenance. We didn't realise how much lichen was under the dirt. We will be giving the patio a soft wash soon to get rid of this so stay tuned. Please like share comment and subscribe and don't forget to press the 🔔#listentolee
When you have a nice place, upkeep is important. Looks better than it was
👍👍🙂
I love washing things down! Love these kinds of videos! 👍🏻
👍😉
TexasRose50 same
Nice job Lee
Cheers 👍👍👍
Plenty of work from that house...👍
That's a lot of work keep at it good job
😊😊👍👍👍
Generally in a similar situation If you were washing an extremely posh and shiny porcelain patio is the same method ok with your pressure washer ?
i love jet washing
Another good video 👌
Thanks buddy 👍
I think you need swirl pressure head and a lot of horse power water pressure?
👍
I have a Bosch electric one and when it's working it's just as good if not better as the petrol ones
What Jet washer you using? Whats the model? Many thanks
Saw an ad for Eliet C550 ZR self propelled, windrowing, roller drive dethatcher today!
It looks very LHL!
🤔🤔🤔...tell me more ....
@@LHLgardenservices On Elieteurope UA-cam channel, just now, it windrows the thatch to one side using a screw or auger system and is propelled by a rear roller that is covered in rubber.
The video just was put up earlier today.
@@wayneessar7489 Sounds interesting 👍 I'll take a look . Cheers 👍👍
Boss mate! Would love to give you a helping hand for a few days, so i can learn the ropes! Going to have a go alongside my uni course
👍👍😊
Nice job Lee, I completely agree with you regarding jet washers, I had a petrol one also and hated the noise plus the maintenance of fuel etc, using clients electricity is more profitable than using your own fuel, I've just got the Karcher k7, biggest domestic one they do, great for mowers and hard patios. Be good to know if you find something that removes the blade spotty stuff.
YEP.. wouldn't have a petrol one now if you gave it me 😆....doing a video on black spot removal next week mate stay tuned 👍
@@LHLgardenservices cool will do
Did you get yourself a surface cleaning head for your pressure washer.
No..never wanted one..I enjoy the lance. But to be honest with you I have a drive booked in to clean and I am thinking of getting one ....you never know I may eat my words 😄😄
@@LHLgardenservices The reason I got one was to clean the shed, took all thirty years worth of muck off one coat of creosote hey presto new shed. Using the lance would have covered the whole area in a fine wood fibres. clean job did not need water proofs.
Why don't you maintain laws full of moss? I've got one that's riddled but she won't pay to get rid of it so I just do it anyways. I don't like the way it looks but that's what she wants. Genuinely curious as to the possible downside of doing it
That's like asking a professional painter why doesn't he just paint over flaking paint 🤔....it shouldn't be there...looks unsightly....robs nutrition and water...makes the lawnmower struggle....and is unprofessional 👍
@@LHLgardenservices yeah I've just been doing my homework there, I've only got one lawn that's like that. Best get her told ha
I'm lichen it
🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣
What psi are you using?
Why don't you use a floating rotary head when jet washing such a large area.? Love your videos by the way, and the quick tips.
Believe it or not I really love using the lance.. I will get a head to try soon to be honest but I'm quite happy doing it this way at the mo 👍👍
STEVE SHIRLEY. The rotating heads don’t seem to work too well.
john turner they are water pressure dependant.
Lee,get a proper jet wash with a turbo nozzle that will do job in 10th of time and get rid of the black algae no prob.....time is money. If a machine is noisy ,you wear ear defenders.
eh?
@@LHLgardenservices I see what you did there.... pardon?? ;-)
@@landcruiser801 😁😁😁😁
what Steven said.... Get 3000+ PSI at least. with a turbo nozzle or rotary if you have it. PETROL ENGINE! then pressure clean and post treat with SH to remove plant stains.
Invest in a petrol washer. Cuts the time in half to these domestic type washers.
I've had petrol...way too noisy. Just constant noise even when you're not spraying...happy with what I've got
@@LHLgardenservices fair enough. They are noisy. I only do jet washing myself so always use the petrol one. I also have a karcher k7 good little domestic machine. May i ask what you have. Love the channel btw.
@@openaircleaning9598 cheers .its a Stihl RE 128 plus 👍
I was down a youtube rabbit hole the other day and came across some videos about 'Monty Solution' which caught my eye. Looks environmentally friendly and has no acid in it but it removes black spot. Might be of interest to you.
Worth a look thanks ..I've just bought 20lts of sodium hydrochlorite. now so I will use that up and look into something more eco👍👍👍
Were you not worried when you said that you wouldn't maintain the lawn that she would just get a cowboy man with a van to do it every 2 weeks
No mate...There will always people who will and always people who wont .Up to you to know the difference 👍👍
My pressure washer is petrol, yadda yadda yadda. It's so much better than yours, yadda yadda yadda.
I use a rotating turbo nozzle on a petrol washer. It's brilliant. Don't bother with a patio washer. And bleach spray gets rid of the
lichen/ black marks.
That garden turned out a big job.
Going over it with sodium hydrochlorite 👍
LHL will you upload a video of you applying the hypo Lee
@@eggie555golf yes👍
Petrol Honda is proper machine
Go for it 👍🏻
great job can you upload more like this
That's not good job left lots of dirty places...
thanks for commenting
Not the best job I've ever seen need to get a better jet wash
what do you mean not the best job?? the patio is clean! clean is clean!! the Mark's on it are lichen..no jet washer will get them off
@@LHLgardenservices o right thought you left it like that . better jetwash would have took you half the time I do it myself mucca , just saying that's all
