The Harley-Davidson Sportster S is a game-changer that brings back the Sport in Sportster. With the liquid cooled Revolution Max 1250 engine, the Sportster S is a compact and perfect handling speed racer that leaves the competition far behind. With the Apex, Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde developed an exhaust that does justice to this incredible new bike. To amplify the racing element of the Sportster S, Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde created a 2in1 exhaust system that not only fits the bike like a glove, but maximizes the sound coming from the Revolution Max engine to unbeknown heights.
The Revolution Max engine is something different than the Milwaukee-Eight and it was important for us to create a sound that would fit the bike and generate the desired 'wow-effect' when the rider pushes the button. With the Apex we have more than succeeded in this endeavor. Still silent in the Dr. Jekill mode, but a raw racing sound when the Mr. Hyde mode is activated, yet still unmistakably the sound that suits a Harley-Davidson.
