I think many of the croissants were in the oven a bit too long as they were really dark and almost looked burnt. However, I was fascinated by the entire process and I bet these are delicious.

@@tulaib4393 no they were fine some people like their croissant like that I used to go to a traditional bakery every day when 8 was younger and there are different types of croissants these deep toasted ones are really delicious and they use a different dough that creates a different texture and browns quicker.
Not burnt. They brushed it with an egg mixture called Eggwash to help it get the dark color.
