Hi :) would you mind explaining to me how the bus transportation work? I'm planning on staying here at my next trip . Do you have to make it to the main hub to catch a bus to MK or AK? or do those busses travel to each resort area like the internal bus does?

      Hi There,
Thanks so much for the comment, and I hope you have an AMAZING stay here! So - we actually did not use the busses while we were here (We ended up only doing Epcot and Hollywood Studios - other than the day that we started our day by driving to Animal Kingdom before checking into CBR). I did some research, and I found out that there are eight bus stops, starting at Martinique and then going around the Resort in the following order: Old Port Royale, Barbados, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, and Aruba, (order subject to change). On a DisBoards forum from April 2023, I saw that people were saying that there are internal busses as well as park busses, and all busses stop at each of the stops. So, you don't *have* to make your way to the hub to get to the park - however, I have read a few people saying that depending on where you are on the bus loop and the time of day, you may want to get to the hub, as busses may be full by the time they get to Aruba, for example.
However, if you are in Aruba, you could always make your way over to Riviera and take their bus! After our Jollywood Nights evening, when we took the bus back to the resort late at night, they actually combined the route for Riviera and CBR, so we popped off at the Riviera stop instead of riding the full loop, and we were able to get back to our room at Aruba before the bus made it there!
      Hope that is helpful! :)

Can 100% confirm that the Sebastian’s bread pudding is better than ‘Ohana’s. Also, we had a 15 year old sleep in a 5th sleeper and he was good!

I gotta get on the Sebastian's bread pudding, it sounds like! I guess I'm wrong about 10 and under for the 5th sleeper hahaha... I'm spoiled by king and queen beds, I think! 😅

Pretty sure the refurbed 5th sleepers have a little mermaid theme and the only area right now are in the Trinidad section

Yes! I’ve seen that now… definitely opt for the Trinidad section if you’re looking for the refurbished rooms.

Great vid! Thank you! i am planing a trip to this hotel and i would like staying in the Jamaica Section. Is the bus stop close form Jamaica section (internal bus)? Thanks!

Hope you enjoy your stay! We’ve actually never taken the internal bus look at CBR, but I believe all of the stations are fairly close to their areas :)

It really is a beautiful resort and so close to Riviera. The Skyliner is the best too.

Yes! Having two resorts in such close proximity is so nice because it expands your dining options considerably. Throw in the Skyliner, and you can't go wrong! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Our favorite Disney hotel. We've been staying at CB since 1991.

Must be amazing to see how it’s evolved over the years! It’s such a great resort!

Our teens alternated between the 5th sleeper and Queen. They found it to be comfy and slept better not sharing a bed. 🤣

Oohhh, I could see that being a draw of the 5th sleeper! I hated sharing with my sister when I was younger lol

It’s been over 15 years since I stayed at Caribbean beach and so much has changed. Thanks for this extensive walk through! I love your heart sunglasses 😍

I wish I could've seen what this resort looked like before Riviera was built! I gotta go dive down UA-cam to see if I can find some footage of that. Thanks so much! I love them too haha, they make me happy just putting them on!! :)

Aw this resort looks so great, but I don’t think it’s in the cards for us. We need a 2 bedroom with laundry and kitchen for all of us and our 15 pieces of luggage. Maybe we can still go for Sebastian’s Bistro though!

I'd say it's definitely worth a visit on a Skyliner crawl day, or any non-park day, just to check it out and maybe grab some food! Sebastians, or even just Centretown Market, should have some great options for you!!

We loved Caribbean beach but didn’t like Sebastian’s bistro food was good it should have been the sides really nice tge salad and main course wasn’t it tasted like it was made by cruise people but chefs like Celine cooks. No offense chef looked proud but tge good wasn’t great . Salad dressing was so sweet like poured candy dressing in it meat under dons no flavor . Pudding was great bread rice and curry sides nice. Not worth price.
The central market sold platter that was good better than Sebastian’s I liked it. Pool was great scenery I like Caribean beach wayyyyyyyyy more then riviera riviera is moderate hotel with ok dining. Topolinos breakfast was basic great characters superb in fact but $59 for 2 eggs sausage and potato’s and rude waiter wasn’t great. The lunch place was ok not great. U want good food go Boma superb animal kingdom was best food period of most restaurants let alone Disney

Ooh, sounds like Sebastian’s is maybe one of those restaurants that is hit or miss.
Topolino’s breakfast is our favourite character meal. It is super pricey, especially for breakfast, but the character interactions are top notch. We’ve never had poor service here either, I’m so sorry you had that experience!
Thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts!

Ok I need to resort hop next time because this is beautiful! I've always stayed at all-star and art of animation but this is so cool! especially the view of the water and the skyliner. definitely marking it on my list

    • @ever.after.adventures
      @ever.after.adventures  7 місяців тому

Ooh and it's so close to AoA too! Just one quick skyliner ride, and you're right there. It's amazing to do a little skyliner crawl or something on your rest days, so that you can check out other resorts and see if they intrigue you enough to book a stay for next time!

We've heard so many mixed reviews about this resort, and I'm convinced it's gotta be because of the location that people stayed at! Definitely a hot tip! hehehe.. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hahaha, it is definitely a very large resort! That's especially why the little neighbourhood you stay in is so important. It was super quick to walk over to Riviera for food and transportation when we stayed in the Aruba section!
