Unfortunately, my 37-year-old videotape is not in good shape, and I was only able salvage this race and a few others. I actually attended this meet in person, and I remember taking some pretty good still photos with my 35mm film camera; I still have them somewhere. As I recall, Valerie Brisko went out really fast in the women's 400m, but Lillie Leatherwood-King ending up winning in a sub-50 clocking.
@@jimmuchmore5854 sorry tu hear… yes, TN reports say Val Brisco went 22.5 but I find it hard to believe ! I only saw a slow motion closeup of her race and impossible to get splits from that one… Would love to see pictures though
