I feel like we still need the chocolate confession in season 4. Like you said this is the first time we've gotten a full season of Ricky's feelings towards Gina before that there was scenes in season 1 and 2 but it was mostly from Gina's POV. We need to see a scene where he tells her how he feels about her in season 4. I also need the main couple not breaking up.
Tim Federle, who created the show, says that Rina will stay together because it's been building up since S1E5, so there's no worry of them breaking up like Nini and Ricky or EJ and Gina, because they've been written to be endgame.
I really hope they address the chocolates next season. I think it was obvious in the S3 scenes that Ricky’s confession was going to used. I felt like he was hiding something (you don’t know the full story, the lying scene and “no more chocolates” reactions) and was waiting for it to be revealed. I didn’t even believe the chocolate theory. It was bizarre until Tim released the original script that it made sense. I’d like to still see the slight guilt in S4 and him eventually revealing it to her. Anyway, “now I wish I’d signed the card” STILL has me gagged like the IMPLICATIONS of that line is everything
This is some really good info. 0:00 - 0:06, and, yes we usually don't get his POV. 0:07 - 0:11, oh it does, the Tim's Instagram post, says Ricky version, proves it, I'm making a point, lol. 0:20 - 0:22, he has. 0:55 - 0:59, exactly. He always did! 1:00 - 1:04; 1:05 - 1:09, of course, he would. Well, at least he finds his tries on his actual consideration for Gina! 1:28 - 1:32; 1:33 - 1:39, Ricky done that, absolutely, and which is why it's mentioned by Ashlyn to Nini because he don't want to be the "bad guy" in his relationship to Nini! For Nini, it was better safe than sorry. 1:48 - 1:52, I believe he'd been having day - dreams, if she accepted it, and might be a item. 1:53 - 1:58, 1:59 - 2:03, 'cause her mom works out of the blue schedule, from F.E.M.A., he wouldn't want to make or cause a scene, like her mom doesn't care for her, own daughter, she provides everything she fights for to keep herself, and Gina, in a household; and, it's intertwined on the part, he feels guilty to favor her more than Nini, and he knows he can or anyone else, can get hurt, too. For instance, Nini! He rather go with the strings to do anything, if it's Gina. 2:30 - 2:32, it's great think we need to! 2:33 - 2:37; 2:38 - 2:41, it was. 2:42 - 2:45, he don't need her advice, he uses his question hypothetically to her, but wants to see, if she approves. 2:46 - 2:51, wasn't too as usual. 2:52 - 2:55, he became upset when Big Red asked Gina, if it's a smart idea for Ricky to have a "lovey-dovey" text to send (Nini). Ricky called his name to stop him, he didn't want Gina to knowledge his business, and Big Red, went with anyways. He kinda put him in a full - blown blast. 2:56 - 3:00, like we know, he says, Nini's name, to Gina, doesn't clarify he's thinking of Nini, as he talks to Gina! He's not fridging; shows us Gina's in his mind! Because, it's not about Nini! 3:01 - 3:04, and, it goes with what I commented above too! 3:12 - 3:14, 3:15 - 3:17, he walked away too soon. 3:18 - 3:21, (twice) from her, and, he could've. ..... 3:22 - 3:24, maybe. 3:25 - 3:32, she feels obligated, and in a under pressured state. 3:33 - 3:37, using his girlfriend's name, to his crush; isn't the brightest thing to do, and, he now sees his judgement was wrong. 3:49, I agree! 4:07 - 4:09; 4:10 - 4:11, thought it was weird he listened to Gina, and E.J.'s disagreement, or their fallin - out. He left, it's relatable that, he lied to Gina about the chocolates -- ahhh!!!! 4:17 - 4:20, I kinda wasn't sure, if it connects to the chocolates theory, and, kept seeing multiple times; and, him, and Gina, had stuff happen in their household, so, it makes since Ricky, was disturbed, and angered by Jet. And, it's a tradition in the showbiz, of course. 4:21 - 4:24, me, also. And it came through! For Rina's. 4:34 - 4:39, indeed. Well, this is the masterpiece, he wrote. It's worth the wait. On everything just said, makes since more than it's perceived, and went beyond on the appearances here, and seek out the most mix emotions from their dialogue to grap on small details, which comes as the main factors obvious. And I know, for Tim to, post Ricky's POV, on what we haven't heard quite yet, he gotta way for Ricky to tell Gina, as they'll begin to date, in Season 4! 😍😻🥰🙀😏😂💖✨🌠🌟⭐👏🤍💛🧡❤️💜💙💚🤎
Can you analyze small rina scenes where he was looking at her in season 2 or glances where he’d look lost in thought when her name was brought up or something
I don't think he'll do a big reveal in S4 because the impact for the audience is gone (which is why I'm super shocked he told us). Maybe it'll be a little acknowledgement between Ricky and Gina's mom or he'll just leave it as dramatic irony.
OMG 3.01 I NEVER REALIZED THAT WOULD ALSO MEAN THE CHOCOLATES I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS RICKY BEING DUMB AF! also 4.00 ! I never got why Ricky was disturbed by that conversation up until now! I REALLY wish they had used Ricky's confession in s4 then Gina! I was expecting for him to step up for once!
The confession is from the original rough draft of the S3 finale. The show runner decided to give the big speech to Gina but he posted the original version on instagram which is what’s shown here.

It’s nice to see how much Ricky has grown since Season 1.

Bet we will get the chocolate reveal in S4.
love this
Can you analyze small rina scenes where he was looking at her in season 2 or glances where he’d look lost in thought when her name was brought up or something
Can you analyze the scene where Ricky find out ej and Gina might be a thing
Please do!!!
I think he will in season 4 though.
I don't think he'll do a big reveal in S4 because the impact for the audience is gone (which is why I'm super shocked he told us). Maybe it'll be a little acknowledgement between Ricky and Gina's mom or he'll just leave it as dramatic irony.
I agree, I think the mum will reveal it as an inside thing between them.

Is this confession in an episode or what?
