that bat looking ram rod just gave me a big bright idea. have you tried launching a bolt, like a giant arrow? I'm in the process of making a 22 cal pistol mini bolt launcher using blanks and an inert suppressor. I have no idea what to expect. regardless, it should be interesting.
A pot-de-fer protocannon! I’ve been wanting to make one of those giant arrows for a bit. I’ve got some decent free time this summer so I’ll be making some goodies for some bigger videos like that one!

The softball hit was impressive! The way it knocks those ties out from under things makes me wonder if it’s possible to do the tablecloth trick with a cannon somehow
Weird question, do you know how to do work on, or how to set up a cannon, I bought a cannon from a private collector and wanted to see if I could get it firing black powder blank shots at least
We shot some 3D printed versions of those in a video a while back and it going to try to make some metal versions one of these days as well. There are so many different versions! Thanks for tuning in!
I like it! We’ve got animals at 2 of our three ranges so we’re limited to one range for pointy things. I’ve been holding onto flechettes for a minute too since that range is a bit further away and schedule issues. Good idea!

What about cannon ball vs sword, you could get like an eighty dollar sword or so.e substitute and shoot it

maybe you should try a 'Diabolo' shaped projectile, like those used in airgun pellets and some shotgun slugs

black powder - plastic shopping bag -- sawdust to soak up any water --- bag of ice cubes :)
