The frogs on the Ellis Restaurant sign represented the fact they used to sell frog legs there, there were 5 frogs originally jumping over the main sign .2 were restored a few years ago with plans to reopen the iconic building . Quite a history about it all .

What have we learned? Rock City should be on everyone's bucket list and fairy tales are very disturbing when you think about them as adults. Congrats on the stuffed dog, I've never mastered the claw machine.
I've managed to win quite a few things from claw machines, some I've even won on my first attempt. They're super addictive.

I have a good friend from high school that lives in Chattanooga now. I went down there to visit her earlier this year. While I stayed with her, we went to the train station in this video, looked around it, and went ice skating I that ice rink for an event MomoCon was holding to advertise the convention they have in Atlanta around memorial day weekend each year. There were so many Yuri on Ice cosplayers there.

I'm from Chattanooga and if you have never been, you have to visit Rock City, Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Choo Choo, tow truck museum, Tennessee valley railroad museum (ride train during fall beautiful) Lake Winnipesaukee, chickamauga battlefield & museum, much much more. It's the scenic city, I was born here moved w/fam to Houston at 6yrs came back at 30yrs never want to live anywhere else.

Decades ago, we went up to ROCK CITY..... We nagged our parents to go there after seeing all of the roof top signs on barns as we were going to Disney World back in 1971. It was neat.

The man who operates the locomotive is called the engineer and the guy that rides on the other side of the locomotive is called the fireman he's the guy responsible for shoveling the coal to keep the fire going and keeping the water level In the boiler at the right amount

Hi Jacob. This is unrelated to this video, but have you heard that Sugar Mountain, NC is getting a alpine coaster called Wilderness Run? It is supposed to be opening very soon. Maybe you can make it up that way and cover some of the ski slopes too.

I'm glad someone else remembers that robot, I also recall he had a robot dog as will.
@@manebull6291 the dog's name was Sparko. Three of him were made and lost.
@@matturban9103 actually there's a elektro and sparko at the Mansfield memorial museum but they don't work and then there's elektro and sparko at the henery ford museum in Dearborn MI but I think they are replicas, and now we have mini-elektro who will probably haunt my dreams at night 🤣.

Used to go to a convention at the choo choo every year, but they have shut down 90% of the hotel and all the restaurants, and the place got really run down, looks like they are trying to bring it back

At 13:06, you show us some of the options. I would def pick the bird photography one! I love critters. When I saw your other Rock City vid about this machine, I didn't see that one! Maybe the next time you show us this, you can go slow enough for us to read each one of the selections. ETA: I just noticed that to the right of the one you chose there are PAINTINGS of birds! I had to watch that section several times to be able to read that. To the left are farm animals. I also saw a "Bud & Bug" selection and earrings. There were others I couldn't make out. Do show us all selections next time, even if you don't buy anything!

All claw machines are rigged. The claw has a sensitive dial that is adjusted to not pick up much.
