I am so happy you came to this museum!! I knew you would love it. Here is a fun fact about the building it is housed it, it used to be the Sunbeam bread factory/bakery!! Another great video, come back to Nashville soon!
For anyone interested. There are a couple short videos of the GyroX here on youtube. It is quite a fascinating vehicle. It is classed as a motorcycle. The two small rear wheels retract when the Gyro is running. It self balances on two wheels. Even if you physically push laterally it wont tip and even corrects itself to the upright position.
Love the fact that you shared your trip through this museum. Not so pleased that you panned over a few vehicles without at least naming them, so we could research if we were curious enough.
They used to have a GIGANTIC military aqua troop transporter in the back parking lot about 20 years ago, i wonder now if they ever got to finish it, it was the largest one I've ever seen. CARPETBAGGER, you are the best, gonna have to go to Lanes again and catch up.
The CarpetBagger I had been watching your videos for a short while now and have to say it's awesome and amazing of the travels and places you gone to now. Its really great of you making this big journeys to this different places that me and some others can't go to. Your doing a great job and hope to see many videos to come. :3
Awesome video my friend. Disney springs is home to the biggest amphibious car collection in the world. So next time you go to Disney you can experience lake driving :)
Looks like a awesome museum , every crazy vehicle is like found in it . I want the snow car , is it for sale ? Cool bicycles , the bike with the propeller, can we see someone ride it ? Fun place , cool video . Have to see if I can get there . Mike Espo .
Thats in the old Sunbeam bakery, used to be so many sweet smelling bakeries all over nasville, across the street was the old Alladin thermos plus factory with what used to be a beautiful natural local stone scape ou front, one other like it was at corner of spence lane and elm hill pike. When it rained hard, it was like beautiful waterfalls. In close proximity.😊
I really enjoyed this video, Jacob! So awesome and very interesting to see all those odd cars! They're really awesome! A suggested place to visit while you're still in the south, is Julliette, Ga in the town of Whistle Stop: It is the Film location of the 90s Southern movie 'Fried Green Tomatoes' if you've ever heard of it. My family and I just came back from there a couple weeks ago and It's the first time we've been back in years. It's a small small town roadside attraction, but I'm sure you'd still enjoy iy since you're a sentimental guy! God bless ya, man!
If you like that sort of stuff, you should check out the Glenn H. Curtis Museum in Hammondsport, NY (seems to be part of the country you have not checked out yet). He was a pioneer in motorcycles, cars, and flight (his planes were flown off of Keuka Lake in the winter when it was frozen as well as testing float planes there). Lots of odd vehicles there too. Air Power Park in Hampton, VA has rockets and planes from the 60s on display. Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke has trains, planes, and cars, as well as a display of Matchbox cars.
We enjoy watching your videos. We are planning a trip to California and we have used some of your videos for research. Have you ever traveled thru Kansas city. We do have some nice museums.
I like antique cars, ect. Enjoyed this video. Showed a little bit of everything. I hope you get the chance to come down to ,"Crusin' The Coast" A week long antique car event here on the Mississippi Golf Coast.
Nice! I live near it but have never been to it oddly enough. Should change that some time. Oh, and also one place that I will recommend is Fernandina Beach, Florida. It admittedly doesn't have as much variety to explore compared to other places you've been to, but downtown, Fort Clinch (Civil War fort), and a couple other areas are nice to look around. It's more a vacation spot than anything, and one I have loved to go to for years now.
The Helicron runs! They take it out from time to time! Motorwheel, so cool...the car before the Dymaxion (coolest car ever) is a Davis, that and the orange thing were both in Hubnut;s video today too, and he was in New Zealand. There are only a handful of those left! Such a cool place, good stop man!
You definitely need to check out the Gilmore museum in Michigan... In my opinion the best automotive museum in the US. On a side note, my 6 year old daughter and I love your channel!!! She always wants to see what the carpetbagger is up to!
The Gyro X is actually quite an interesting concept. Those two training wheels you see in the rear were actually designed to retract while the car was in motion. It was meant to balance itself while driving on two wheels (like a bicycle), hence why it was called the "Gyro."
awesome car museum, jacob. if you're ever near the central city kentucky area, there are 2 museums there, located on 2nd st., in the same building. the Everly brothers museum, and the ky. motorsports hall of fame museum. message me sometime, and I'd be more than happy to make the 45 min. drive to give ya a tour.
The real dymaxion car (prototype 2) is actually in a museum in reno crazily enough (seen it myself) it is the last known surviving prototype and was famously used for advertisement and ridden in by amelia Earhart!
I have a suggestion for a place for you to visit, but since I live in Australia, I have no idea how practical it is. It is called Pumpkinrot, & the people set it up differently every year for Halloween. I don’t know if it’s open to the public or is private, but the artists who create it have uploaded yearly videos on UA-cam, & it looks fantastic. Thanks for your fun channel, CB! 🦖🐍🐢🐆🐜🦇🦅🦆🐗🦎🐨
I'm not a car person (I have my license but have never been able to afford a car, let alone insurance, and I am afraid of driving anyway), but I love tiny cars and classic Minis. My dream car is a classic Mini with a Union Jack on its roof. Or a Leyland Mini exactly like Mr. Bean's!
It's a shame they don't have a Honda City as the little Motocompo was sold as an accessory for them so if you worked in the City you could leave the car at a parking Garage and use the bike the rest of the way to the office where space may be more of a premium.
You need to go back to Philadelphia. Go to Macy's aka The Wanamaker building in Philadelphia. They have the largest fully functioning pipe organ in the world.
I am so happy you came to this museum!! I knew you would love it. Here is a fun fact about the building it is housed it, it used to be the Sunbeam bread factory/bakery!! Another great video, come back to Nashville soon!
Thx. 4 takin me along on your adventurous journey, have a good wk. And Happy Valentine's Day
@8:28 that Jag E type oooooh❤
At 17:50, it's like a AAA truck (or CAA in Canada), a French tow truck from the town LA-ROCHE-SUR-YON, on St-Hilaire street, in France... Great video!
My husband lived in Nashville years ago and really enjoyed this! Thank you!
12:55 is a Go Devil minibike, had a couple of them when I was young, glad to see one there

Went on my places to go. Love all weird (cool) different cars you just don't normally see. Happy travels 👍
Been there and loved every minute of it! 'Preciate the stop to see all the oddities again!
Very good museum ! See things you don't see anywhere else !
Alot to see !

Welcome to Music City! 😀

Cool! You were like 7 mins from my house!! This is an awesome place, my boys and I have always enjoyed this museum!
Definitely a lot of strange and interesting cars!
Jacob the Carpetbagger...the unofficial biggest fan of propellers!

Check out the corvettes museums man
Thanks for recording your tour! What a great museum I won't be seeing in person any time soon.

Hi Jacob awesome vlog at Lane Motor museum👍🏻😸
Thanks for the tour. I'll be in Nashville next month for business and will have to add this to the to-do list. I want a rocket Subaru!!
Looks very interesting. Neat place. I saw many cars, that I've seen before.
I like antique cars, ect. Enjoyed this video. Showed a little bit of everything. I hope you get the chance to come down to ,"Crusin' The Coast" A week long antique car event here on the Mississippi Golf Coast.

Love all the freaky different cars, we will have to visit
This is so awesome, thank you!
This car museum is so cool, great video
The car you got to sit in was a good ole Cintröen. The pride of French engineering lol
Very nice place love the cars

The Gilmore is just east of Kalamazoo. You'll do a LOT more walking there that at the Lane.

I don't know if they still have it but they used to have a huge L.A.R.K Vehicle parked out back
New subscriber! Love the channel! Please do more paranormal and animal vids!

A fan from CHATTANOOGA TN
Would be neat if you visited a carpet showroom museum
If the peddler car had AC I’d buy it! The fun and exercises of riding a bike but with AC. That sounds great to me 😂😂

I have seen TV people riding the one big wheel motor cycle. Apparently it works if you know what your doing.
Bean's!

You need to go back to Philadelphia. Go to Macy's aka The Wanamaker building in Philadelphia. They have the largest fully functioning pipe organ in the world.
That orange car from '77 looks like something from Blade Runner. 🙂
Dude, ever wanted to take off and fly in your car? There is your grey area between car and plane. A clane
In the back there is a giant military amphibious vehicle
