No mods needed. In our case we had to open a bit the transmission tunnel bc the size of the automatic. And then minor cuts to route the intercooler and piping
@MinkMood I'm a fan man in the U.S. the miata with a ls is hotrod but no hard top and all the weight out front is ridiculous but the frs 2jz combo 🤌🤙👌is nice and keeping it all factory brand even more cherry lol keep up the work hope it works out man..... oh and I subbed can't wait to see what ya do 🤑
For the Inlet on the water pump. I've got a slight leak, I. Questioning the orings size (does anyone have a part number for the orings on the sleeve ? ) also can the inlet be installed after the water pump is installed or does it have to go onto the water pump first ?
Hi man I just shared the link to the parts catalog. It was extremely helpful during my rebuild. Regarding order of installation it doesn’t matter as is only hold by pressure. Let me know if you get it fixed! Before installing oring light lube it with engine oil
@perplexed6359 one has variable timing in the intake side and the other has not. This variable timing allow the engine to have more torque in low mid range and keep the same top end performance. Similar to the Honda VTEC technology
Did you have to make any modifications to the engine bay (cutting or welding) to fit the engine and transmission?

Like a glove 🖐👌
Hey, did you use the taller mounts or the smaller mounts for this?
short, clears great with the OEM Sway Bar and the lower oil pan
If you call them, ask for Guy he is the #1
I know people always chase the next new thing, but the frs 2jz combo is hotroding at its finest 👌 small platform oversized engines 🎉😅
Glad you enjoy it mate!!! Lots things still to get sorted but clearly a mini overpowered car 🚗🔥

What’s the difference between a VVTI and a Non-VVTI?
Torque
variable valve timing. sadly no valve lift. so as Krishall said the main difference is torque
