If you wondering why you can't see the text glow while editing it, this might help. First, When changing render engine to eevee in the render properties, turn on bloom. Next at the top right of the viewport, there's four sphere options, the farthest right looking like a reflective glass sphere, that should allow you to see the text glow without rendering it.
For those interested, you can also obtain this flashing effect by separating the different objects and performing a pseudo-random function which takes as input "info object -> random" and a value node with keyframes (which gives a concept of time) Good video!

I struggled for a while with the project from view leading to a UV unwrap that moved parts of the letters differently than in the video. Realized that I had typed "Neon" instead of "NEON". How would I stop this from happening if I wanted to use lower case letters? Thanks!
in Bevel, Below geometry thats below the same page where your none option lies, go there (at bevel ) go to depth and increase it to your liking...increasing it from 0.00 to 0.01 would do
Mickey Perry it makes it not show the whole texture on the object, just one pixel, making it look like it blinks, try it with a different texture coordinate plug and see how that looks
I thought it would be cool to animate the whole word on/off...I achieved this by moving the color ramp slider, but it doesn't' have a keyframe option. Any way around this?
Hi! I hope I’m not too late but he changed the view mode to render which is in the top right corner under options, it goes from the full circle to the last one. I’m not sure what key is used because I’m a beginner but pressing on the circles will do just fine!

Does Project from View not work with cycles in 2.9? When I select all my vertices and press U, no menu pops up. I've tried going into F3 and searching but nothing showed up. Also tried checking my key mapping in the settings and there was no UV Mapping keybind in the settings
I have a problem with the shader. Following the tutorial created same shader, but when i change the ColorRamp value, I see that letters are glowing or some of them are completely black. How can I fix this?

Turn on Bloom in the Scene tab to get the bloom effect. Took me a while to figure that out.

Neon signs don’t have sharp corner you should have gone with some other font like blender guru did in his tutorial to get smooth corners

Increase your frames. Here his end(120) frame us 360°. But if u gor for 240 frames. Ur end frame should have 360°

you didn't mention that the bloom icon should be on. if it doesn't it won't work.
