That was soooo helpful! That video beat even Cambridge dictionary at breaking down this topic. Eventually the confusion is clarified for me! Thanks a lot!
Great lesson! I've been struggling with grasping this topic, because some daily uses of "others" do'nt fit the main rule. For example: "I don't like this shirt. Do you have any others?" Is this sentence correct?
I poured tea on my notebook, I need another notebook. I like to eat apples. I need other apples urgently 😂 My friends are already sleeping . I want others to talk with😊 Thank you for this video, more or less I got it 🎉
Hello. pense assim» DO é igual executar. MAKE é igual elaborar-preparar-fabricar. O professor fez a prova, e a entregou ao aluno e o aluno fez a prova. Quem elaborou-preparou a prova? R. O professor. Logo o professor MAKE a prova. Quem executou a prova? R. O aluno. logo o aluno DO a prova.
@@WoodwardEnglish And according to the quotation on your site " When to use OTHER Other is a determiner that goes before plural countable nouns, uncountable nouns or a pronoun."
In general the first one... "another 3 days" = an additional three days. However there is a less used example of "other 3 days" that needs the article THE before it. - I don't want to go on these three days, I want to go on the other three days. Though almost always you will use "another + number + time period" when you are talking about an additional time period.

Great lesson! I've been struggling with grasping this topic, because some daily uses of "others" do'nt fit the main rule. For example: "I don't like this shirt. Do you have any others?" Is this sentence correct?
Yes
@@WoodwardEnglish Do you happen to know why is it correct? Because it's not referring back to a plural noun. "Shirt" is singular 🤔

Thank you very much!! Question, but why then we can also say "other day" or the other day?
Can you make a video talking about the comparative superlative?
I already have that lesson here:
ua-cam.com/video/13TLUMw6og0/v-deo.html
Thank you!could you tell me the difference between "do"and "make" please!

Do you have a video for “the other” too?
This is the only video about OTHER.
Let's visit him on an "ANOTHER" day.
How about the "OTHER" shoes?
Do you mind helping "OTHERS"?
* Let's visit him on "ANOTHER" day. (You don't need the AN before ANOTHER)
@@WoodwardEnglish thanku ⭐💟💟
i have to stop procrastinate because theres no another day
It should be "stop procrastinating".
"stop to procrastinate" it will have another different meaning.

Can "other" and "the other" be used with uncountable nouns? If so, could you give some examples, please.
No
@@WoodwardEnglishI've heard some native speakers( btw, they were English teachers) saying "some other information". Is that incorrect?
@@WoodwardEnglish And according to the quotation on your site " When to use OTHER
Other is a determiner that goes before plural countable nouns, uncountable nouns or a pronoun."
@@NatWolf77 Yes. It is incorrect.
So "another 3 days(plural, count)" OR "other 3 days (plural, count)"???
In general the first one... "another 3 days" = an additional three days.
However there is a less used example of "other 3 days" that needs the article THE before it.
- I don't want to go on these three days, I want to go on the other three days.
Though almost always you will use "another + number + time period" when you are talking about an additional time period.
"You can stay another day".
Why does it mean not "You can stay on a different day". Or it's up for context?
It can mean that too. Yes, context.
I need other lessons
There are many others :)
