Superb video. Definitely going to save some headache for people. I actually wrote them and suggested they change the wording “adjustable endlinks strongly suggested” “adjustable endlinks necessary for proper fitment.” Keep up the good work bro!
Nice informative video! Quick question - did you end up tightening and torquing attachment points to spec with the suspension compressed to ride height or simply up in the air on stands?
Really enjoy your son’s enthusiasm and your having him by your side. I just got my 034 swaybar and f/r adjustable dynamic+ end links. Very happy with the install. My ‘07 A3 is so flat in corners now and love the way it holds now throw mid sweeping turns whereas before it would rebound. Highly recommend adding the front end links. Also have the 034 dogbone and duro mounts, avoid these bushings if you’re sensitive to NVH, it does increase.

Great question! With the car suspended. The instructions said this was okay for this car / sway bar setup.
@@MereMortalsAttempt Thanks for the quick reply! Helpful info.
Just curious why you use loctite on the bolts? Wouldn’t they stay tight if you’re torquing them to the correct spec?
Honestly I’m not sure why… I was following 034 Motorsport’s installation instructions. I assume some engineer somewhere called for it.
The torque specs for this video, are those specs specifically for the GLI only or are they generally the same for most VW cars?
Same for other VWs that use that specific sway bar
Time to take it to mid Ohio
Got engine mounts and a dog bone insert yet… then it’s ready 😊
Fan of Highlander by chance? :)
There can be only one?
