Sew this envelope purse in 7 minutes!!! clutch bag / bag making

This is a perfect project to start your sewing journey with, or as a 'sewtosell' project (you can make many of these in 1 hour!!)
I used a medium weight canvas fabric (along with fusible woven interface) as my 'outer' which gave the end product a bit more stiffness and form. You could swap the interface for a fusible fleece if you want yours to have a more 'padded' feel.
I have made these as gifts for little girls from cute, patterned cotton fabrics and they work just fine but a fusible fleece is preferable then to give a little more form.
