People are going to get sick if they aren't maintaining those food temps, but all in all it looks like a fun future cruise!! Thank You for posting this!!
Thanks for sharing the good first impressions, Walter! The ship looks absolutely fantastic! I am so looking forward to seeing more and start planning on sailing on the Islander!
It was warm at first, but a technician corrected it. It sounded like Costa did something above the ceilings when the ship was last in London. Whatever they did had to be reversed to get the A/C going properly again.
Recently was watching another blogger who had a leak in his stateroom and instead of fixing it they left the ceiling tile open and blocking the closet. It was said they have operational problems which is a major concern if i were to consider a cruise on this ship
I have not been on a Costa ship but this ship went through 5 1/2 months of renovation before coming back as the Islander. She's a lovely ship that is a lot of fun.

I'm sure they will get it addressed quickly. We are on the Inaugural sailing now and so far so good.

Reach out anytime, we'd be happy to assist with your Margaritaville sailing. :)
I hope, hope, hope you have a group cruise going to Key West after Sept. 7th--less kids and my sister-in-law can then come with me. I can't wait!
Group Cruise coming in Feb 2025. 6 nights. Stay tuned!

How was the a/c in the cabins?

How does this ship compare with the Costa ships that are currently in the Carnival fleet??
