They did a great job renovating this ship! Everything looks so fresh, tropical and modern. Also, I can see the similarities between this ship and the Carnival Miracle. The two-story nightclub, the theater sofa seating, and the lounge down on deck 1 had the same structure as older Carnival ships. I love the two-story club design to spread out the crowd.
I hope I get to travel on both the Paradise and Islander. They both seem to be very well-designed. The Paradise is also retro at this point, being as old as it is.
I loved this video. Your ship tour was very detailed. I am surprised at how nice the ship looks. It seems as if Margaritaville at Sea was listening to all of the previous complaints. Thanks for sharing....I look forward to sailing on the Islander. 🙂
Great vlog. If I was still cruising, this ship would be on my list. It's very attractive, looks comfortable. I think they did a great redesign, and it gives off an island vibe. The tiki barstools remind me of the salt & pepper skakers from the Kon Tiki restaurants that were popular when I grew up. I hope you had a good time.
What a great tour of this beautiful ship!! I think I’m going to need to sail this ship, it’s absolutely beautiful! Also, first time watching y’all’s channel and subscribed! I’ve been following on Instagram but just now got over to UA-cam for your videos! Time to binge!
Awesome walk thru! I love the 'Spirit' class ships! I am so glad MAS got this ship, and did an incredible job refreshing it..Certainly am going to be making plans to be sailing on her in the near future!
Hello! New sub here! Thanks for posting! Im just curious, the lack of chairs by the pools really scares me. 😱 it seems like on the paradise it was like this too.
Hey! Thanks for subscribing (although I thought you were already subscribed lol). Yes there aren’t many chairs by the pool. Boarding the inaugural cruise right now so I will see if there are more.
Great video on Margaritaville Islander. Can you list which restaurants are a upcharge and which are complimentary. Can I or do you not recommend renting a Cabana on the adult only pool deck.?
Thanks for watching. You can find a list of their restaurants on their website. It will say whether they are included or not. Click “ships”, “islander”, and “restaurants and dining”. I don’t recall the cabanas being for rent on the adult only pool deck. There are cabanas for rent on the main deck. Considering there aren’t many loungers near the pools- if being near a pool is important, then I would recommend renting one.
They did a VERY nice job with this ship coming from the last few rust buckets they've operated with... Only God knows where they keep getting this money from to keep the company afloat, but they seem to just keep finding more! Hopefully this ship will take them to the next level. They have a good concept, but I never really felt like everything was 100%.
Thanks. The smoking section is deck 10 Behind the movie screen. Everytime I tried to capture that area people were there smoking so I didn’t want to film it.
You did a great video! I am so excited to sail at the end of August. I am curious about drink prices . Still debating the drink package or the Ultimate Chill package
Wow, that was an amazing video. I have liked and subscribed to all. I’ve been cruising since the mid 80s, yeah I’m kinda old. I don’t look or act like tho. I have a wicked Peter Pan complex. The first ship the Paradise looks like trash. People have been on it and it is trash. It looks like they’re seriously uping their game when it comes to their brand, with this portion of the Margaritaville franchise. I’m a little spoiled, I typically sail either Norwegian or Disney, I essentially been everywhere on those brands. But you’ve actually convinced me to take a cruise on the islander. Looks like you guys had a great time, ship is beautiful, as long as they maintain it. That’s the problem with the paradise, it seems likeonce they sail, they don’t maintain everything and it all goes to crap. So that’s a massive change that needs to change within this brand of Margaritaville. But thank you for that beautiful video. I liked. I am subscribed and I will absolutely follow you! With big hugs from Central Florida!
Note the 1st ship was from costa cruise line I feel will change customer view point Plus give customer option from carnival and royal Caribbean corp I hope 3 rd ship
I think the transformation turned out beautifully! A few quirky choices that I don’t get in terms of layout, like placement of the gym where Spirit-class ships typically situate the arcade near the kids club. Looks like they made the spa very small and the entire space converted to staterooms. Kind of a miss (one of only a few I can see) and will be interesting to see how a small spa will play out in the long run, as that is a huge revenue driver for other lines.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I couldn't help but notice there weren't many people. Was this cruise for select passengers, considering the first sail is set for tomorrow?
Thanks. This cruise was for select media, cruise influencers and family and friends of Margaritaville at Sea employees. There were 1,100 people onboard. So about 1/2 the regular capacity.
Another good design for the smokestack would be a classic Margarita. Making the smokestack in the shape of a Margarita glass.I'm painting it in such a way that it looks like a full glass of margarita. The bowl of the glass could have extra filters added to. Limit the amount of visible smoke. And would become their new logo trademark.
Only blogger with the tour!! I’ve been waiting for this definitely booked for this weekend thank you!! One question for the kids camp it’s only 15 allowed???
I checked out the pricing for this and they are a little too steep for what they are offering. I could get an MSC cruise with all drinks and Wifi included for half the price.
It was quick. You report to muster as soon as you board. Quick demonstration. The only issue is they aren’t using a tablet to check guests in. So you may have to wait for them to find your cabin on the list. It still took under 5 minutes.
I’m thinking about taking a two day cruise to the Bahamas from West Palm Beach. I’m wondering if this is the ship we well be on? I’ve seen that Margaritaville had much older looking ships
Great job with this tour. This ship does look interesting, but it seems much pricier than i was expecting. I was able to find some good prices near the end of the year for sure, but for only the cabin. Once you add WiFi and a Drink Package you are paying as much as most other lines. Actually, it ends up pricing higher than most MSC sailings, and on much newer ships. I think that they may have made some missteps on this one IMHO.
Wow! This ship looks amazing. After reading all the awful reviews for their first ship, I’m definitely going on this one! Has anyone been on it and have any feedback?
As a guest who disembarked earlier this morning, this cruise was nice. However, the staff was untrained and had only been on board for a week before, many parts of the ship broke in just four days including multiple windows and balconies, and it was very unorganized. I understand it was the inaugural cruise and there were going to be links but some of it was just ridiculous to the point of not even being served despite being an ultimate license to chill guest which is the top package. It’s a lovely ship and destination but they need to get their stuff together quick if they’re going to let their other ship, the paradise, go to crap while they work on this islander.

The reason she looks so much like the Carnival Miracle is she is a sister ship with all the Carnival "Spirit" class ships.
The Spirit class ships I think were some of Carnival's nicest ships
@@niuhuskieguy Agreed. That's why we're giving this one a chance. We have the layout memorized, and the ports are pretty standard.
@@edvadojunk Yes, this is the former Costa Atlantica. She's actually a year older than Carnival Spirit.
@@vamoscruceros Yep. Built in the same shipyard.
This is such a huge upgrade over the Paradise. They made a great choice in purchasing a Spirit-class ship. They are beloved by many.
I hope I get to travel on both the Paradise and Islander. They both seem to be very well-designed. The Paradise is also retro at this point, being as old as it is.
You did an immaculate job of showcasing this ship just wanted to let you know I appreciate your eye for detail and all your hard work😊

We sail on this ship in November! Thanks for sharing! I love what I see!
11:16 those cabanas on that deck are different and very nice.
Great vlog. If I was still cruising, this ship would be on my list. It's very attractive, looks comfortable. I think they did a great redesign, and it gives off an island vibe. 😅 4:11 I thought y’all was about to break down With the leaders at a new school hit 😆. I thought this was “the scenario “.

Very well made video. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
I sailed on paradise twice and I’m sailing islander in August! So excited!
Nice video thanks for the ship tour, i may have to do this ship, I like the open areas of seating on this ship. thanks
have you reviewed their other ship? great video
Yes I have. There are videos up on our channel for Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.
Hello! New sub here! Thanks for posting! Im just curious, the lack of chairs by the pools really scares me. 😱 it seems like on the paradise it was like this too.
Hope they fix that! 😊

Awesome review, I booked family for 13 October sailing.
Very colorful ship. I loved it.
Haha, that's cool they even have the southernmost point buoy from Key West!
Are Teens able to go into bars and lounges to liten to the live music like on Royal ?

Great content! Thank you for always delivering great vlogs and content! How was the check in process?
Great ship tour!
The ship is beautiful and I can’t wait to sail
Do they offer a tier system like with Royal Caribbean? gold, platinum or diamond ? Can you choose a mid ship state room ?
Thank you!, great content!
Love the video. Is the coffee shop included in the drink package?

This is not the ship that runs 2 day cruises. That one is Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. I have vlogs on that one too.
Nice Video
the kids can use the water slides?????
Really Nice
im glad margaritaville purchased and renovated this ship. looks not bad at all from what ive seen
Was there a splash pad or anything for the kiddos or just the playground ? Thanks in advance
No splash pad. Just the playground area.
Carnival knocked it out of the park with this one. ❤

They have elevators for each level correct.
Yes they do. I just didn’t see one that went to deck 11 to the steakhouse.
Okay maybe I’ll consider them now ❤😂🎉
Do they sell ship models at all
Wow! This ship looks amazing. After reading all the awful reviews for their first ship, I’m definitely going on this one! Has anyone been on it and have any feedback?
We’ve been on it the last 6 days and I’ve done a few livestreams to share our initial thoughts. Vlogs will start rolling out tomorrow.

I respect and agree with your review!
Would love to see a cabin
Is there shows?.or comedian shows?
Yes there are shows every night. We did not have a comedian on the media cruise. Boarding the inaugural cruise now and hope there is a comedian!
Do they have a Latin Club?
Not really a club but they have nightly Latin music at the Havana Sport Bar.
🖐🏽
Let’s hope it doesn’t end like its sister ship which capsized 🫡
"IF" they price it right, they will do well.
Do you happen to know the casino email?
I found it right on their website under the casino page thanks so much for the heads up
Seems everything is an upcharge!!
Seems like a lot of up charges. I don't think that'll work.
❤
