Everybody involved was understanding, friendly, and more than willing to answer any questions I had. On a side note, Dr. Gallagher was not wearing a white coat, so no issues with my blood pressure.😉
Hi Doctor, I’ve been following your UA-cam channel for a very little while now. I’m three weeks post op this coming Monday, and about a week ago i developed this weird thing on my labia. My surgeon said the grafts weren’t taking to simply lay down and let it air dry. At first I thought stitches had popped, but apparently that’s not at all what happened. Can you make a video on this type of bump in the road during the recovery of srs for an mtf patient. I was so scared I had never heard of this complication before. Hi Dr. G. My Vaginoplasty was performed ten months ago. My inner labia seem to have fused above my vagina creating a separate hole effect. Is there a correction for this?
Question: I am MtF. When I first came out full time it was in 2005 (18 years ago) and I presented as femme for for five years, until 2010. Then I decided that dealing with transphobia was just too stressful, so I stated presenting as butch. But I was always transgender. My gender marker says female on all of my documents. I have been on estradiol for a few years. I have decent breast growth. My social circle is mostly cis women. I am definitely transgender, but if I don’t pass, then I am not sure if social transition is worth it for me. If I don’t social transition, then will I still be able to get a surgeon to perform a vaginoplasty on me? What can I do to get a surgeon to accept me as butch? Thx

Violet Rene - this sometimes happens after and is called “labial adhesion” - these can be separated at the labiaplasty
